I was just reading that article Faith posted on the previous thread about Padilla not revoking the bail. I didn't realize like that it was Baez that had asked the state's attorney for limited immunity. I thought that was coming straight from the state's attorney's office. This tells me that Baez now knows what has happened and why he asked for limited immunity.

No, in Florida they do not need a reason unless they do not intend to refund the preimum paid. In this case, the premium was paid by Lenny P, so no refund applies if he takes her back.

The surprising change in plans comes on the same day Padilla insisted Casey Anthony would be returned to jail Saturday.

"She's going back to jail on Saturday and she can sit there and decide what she is going to," bounty hunter Leonard Padilla told Eyewitness News on Friday morning.

Those plans changed in a matter of minutes though and, shortly before noon, Casey's attorney explained.

"I guess the breaking news is that Casey will not be surrendered by Mr. Padilla," attorney Jose Baez announced late Friday morning. "It was really about the two of us [Baez and Padilla] just sitting down and discussing it and going down to the root of the problem."

Padilla told Eyewitness News the main reason he initially decided to revoke Casey's bond was for safety concerns after receiving threats directed at her. That appears to have been the focus of the discussion Baez had with Padilla before the announcement, an announcement that was made public before Casey had even been told.

"We determined that they are legitimate security concerns and that's why he wanted to have her taken back. After discussing what we could do to address those, Mr. Padilla has agreed to not surrender the bond. I'm not going to address [what we're doing], because that would, of course, affect security," Baez explained.

BUT=it did not go as planned and M ends up in jail not knowing what to do; she cannot tell the truth or will face more charges. Now it all backfires and she has to tell that Caylee is alive and bring he back to get a deal.

My Theory

What I did in each case as a homicide prosecutor for seven years and did now:
=review all the evidence
=step back and move aside; switch roles; put myself in the shoes of the defendant before the crime.
=what is my plan
=what and whom do I need
=get team committed and agreeable using my charms
=execute plan
=did it go well or not
=if it did not go well, what can I do now to get out of the mess
=what am I afraid the DA will do to discover the truth and ask me on the stand
=who are the witnesses I fear and whom do I need to silence
=should I talk and to whom
=what is the best deal can I make

Then,
I go back and make my own Plan~

Consider this hypothetical:
=Mother M wants to give her baby B to a friend without adoption proceedings
=M wants to hurt her mom GM and deprive her of all visitation with B and avoid GM from seeking custody from a court for neglect by M
=M plans a long time with help from some who know law, law enforcement procedures and court procedure

=THE PLAN:
1=give B to friend F having arranged ahead of time for their trip far from M's home to a remote area in another country
2=lie and stall around for as many weeks as possible about why B cannot talk on the phone or be seen, giving B and F time to settle in the safe area
3=go out and have a good time during these weeks saying if questioned that B is with a known, reliable, mature, female sitter so it is ok
