So in all actuality, Casey did not steal the car. She was in the car that they had bought or her. On the 911 calls Cindy says she stole the vehicle....But Casey had it on the 24th when George tells her that he needs to get a wedge out of HER trunk....So, how was the car stolen?

Does that make sense?

I was awake for hours, too, Emmy - I couldn't put the images of the of Caylee's sweet face on the videos 20/20 showed out of my minds. Watching G & C interacting with her reinforced my belief about the depth of love they feel for Caylee.

Watching Casey with Caylee was very sad to see; a young mother and sweet baby.

I believe that Casey did love Caylee - she was focusing on Caylee rather than posing for the camera as she usually in photos we've seen. Combining that belief with the relationship she had with the Grund family prior to Jesse being proven not to be Caylee's father, as well as the tug-of-war with Cindy over Caylee, it appears that she also used Caylee as a tool to get her way. I wonder if her recognition of the power she could wield by allowing/denying access to Caylee didn't grow as she began to crave more freedom - and Caylee became her own delightful, loving and loved, little girl.

Psychiatrists generally don't diagnose children under the age of 18 as sociopaths - despite strong indications of sociopathic behaviors or tendencies, they can be confused with the normal rebellious behaviors of teens being raised in today's society. Casey obviously didn't change her behavior pattern on May 27, 2008 when she met TonE - they had been there for years; it seems as if the need to free herself grew as she got older and Caylee required more interaction.

Holly said she had taken care of Caylee for a time, I wonder if Casey had to make other plans when she was fired from Universal in April 2006 because she no longer had money to pay Holly? And I still want to know where she went every day for two years after she was fired!

A second thought that kept rolling around in my mind had to do with the fact that C & G didn't know Casey was pregnant for 7 months - and then only because someone else pointed out that it was obvious. This family's ability to change their reality by simply denying the truth and stating what they want to be real makes me wonder if Casey was able to deny her pregnancy to herself by simply denying it. This would not only fit with the possibility that she may believe what she is now claiming about Caylee, per some experts, but explain why she wore a short shirt that exposed her protruding belly-button to her uncle's wedding. For whatever reason, maybe fear, she had told Cindy that you need to have sex to become pregnant - but it's been shown that she had sex with numerous partners around the time she became pregnant. Was it rebellion combined with her desire to party and not be a mother? Or was it simply the way she dealt with an unwanted pregnancy - it didn't exist?

Very insightful post Jute! I know people right now that will dance around the truth or don't talk about the issue(s) or avoid talking about issue(s) and they won't have to deal with it at all. Strange how some people create more conflict when trying to avoid conflict.

Got my helmet on here but just want to say that Casey did not get to be a sociopath all by her lonesome. Don't know what went wrong but I too see what "looks like" love for Caylee in some of the pictures. What makes people cross the line? A new boyfriend, too much stress, too much responsibility, to much pressure or just plain evil deep down inside.

I think that Cindy allowed Casey to get out of bound and stay out of bound for a long time. Then, when Cindy got tired of it or fed up with it she put her foot down with that "tough love" thing. Maybe Casey's lifestyle built up & up and Cindy blew and said time to straighten up or else taking this baby.
Everything may have jacked up out of control from there. The straw that broke the camel's back. Don't really know. Just speculation on my part.

Sad because at the center of this mess is a missing Caylee.

Yes, most government tags are white and usually have blue writting on them around here. Also if we ever see the front tag, it may be black with a blue / across the front, that's what the police around here have.

I looked up the FL regulations regarding a temp. license when it was first mentioned that is all she has. I don't recall what the restrictions are exactly, but I believe she isn't to drive after dark or have passengers.

Also, early Saturday morning, a source close to the investigation said deputies removed a weapon from the trunk of a car belonging to Casey' father, George Anthony. Such a discovery on the Anthony property could have imperiled Casey Anthony's release from jail, but a spokesman for Orange County Corrections said that a judge ruled that Casey presumably had nothing to do with the weapon.

If you go to that post there are 2 pics. The bottom one .. way in the background is Sams Club and the green dumpster is about 100 ft directly behind the Amscot dumpster you see with the fence around it, but in the Sam's parking lot.

Not sure why we are talking about the dumpster again, but anyway.

eta: oh I think we were talking about cameras. Amscot cameras would have covered both dumpsters IMO.

Don't know about Florida but don't you have to be a convicted felon to be restricted from guns, around guns, etc.?

But I guess the judge said it wasnt a violation because he believes Casey had no involvment with it.....Still NOT a good idea for GA to have it due to all the people on his property.. glad they TOOK it from him... Heres where I do not question Cindy's involvement, George I am sure would have said Woman, do not call 911. Cindy I am sure wishes she had not. Her conversations with Casey in Jail seemed like she wanted to know what happened.

I believe Cindy knows now and has for some time, George has wanted to silence her from talking which has been clearly evident.



I always kind of thought this too. When she told Casey during one 911 call something to the effect of "when we get her back we are going to take her from you ". Only my opinion and just a thought only.

to be considered "deadly weapons"? Seems plenty
of victims have been murdered with similar, if not
the same, butcher block knives.

Plus, I'm sure there are other deadly weapons in all
households....tire irons, baseball bats, etc.
