Car-To-Car Debates Erupt In Traffic Over Casey Anthony's Release

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An angry crowd of people waving life-sized "Caylee dolls" and "baby-killer" signs remained outside of Casey Anthony's home a day after she was released from jail.

Protesters who appeared after Casey Anthony returned to her Orange County home said they refuse to leave while the woman's daughter, Caylee, 3, remains missing.

A life-sized baby doll held by one of the men in the crowd had a sign that read, "Hi, I'm Caylee. Have you seen my mommy?"

"Tell the truth," Greg May said as he held the doll. "Tell the truth. The truth will set you free. I don't see how those people sleep at night."

On Friday, several fights and acts of violence erupted outside the home.

Officers responded to the Anthony family's Orange County home after people began to rip signs and throw punches at each other. A man was seen being struck in the face by another man outside the Anthony home.

"You are all big and bad to kill a baby, but you can't come out and face us," a protester yelled when police arrived.

"You people hold signs that mean nothing, and you know nothing about," another person in the crowd yelled.

Several neighbors said they are fed up with the chaos the case has brought to their neighborhood.

"We have been putting up with this for six weeks," a neighbor said. "My kid can't play outside, and we can't leave the house without people trying to run us over."

Some people said they refuse to leave the Anthony house or neighborhood until Casey Anthony is returned to jail.

"We are going to be here every night until she comes out (with the truth)," protester James Harris said.

Well from what I can find the term "pure DNA" means that the DNA is just that...pure. Nothing else mixed in to abstruct being able to make an identification. No bleach or other products. My guess is that if they used the term "pure DNA" is was used in the way of saying it did not have any cleaning solutions or other material in it. This would be a good thing in a way, nothing to compramise the sample and leave doubt as to if it was Caylee or not when/if the case goes to trial. MOO

We had over 25 in our search party alone. We searched 3 different areas (the other was ruled out). They give the team leaders map of search areas and we spread out once we get there. It was everything from open fields to muck and woods. So if each group covered as much area as we did then they are really getting a ton of places ruled out. Jane, how many teams would you say there were.

Sometime between 12am and 1am. this morning, Orange County Corrections Department Home Confinement personnel requested Orange County's Sheriff's Office accompany them to the home where Casey Anthony is on home confinemendt as a condition of her bail. The request was the result of law enforcement tip that a weapon was present on the property. A handgun was surrendered to law enforcement from the trunk of George Anthony's car in the garage. The weapon is now being held in Orange County Sheriffs Office property for safekeeping. Condition 15 of the Home confinement Agreement signed b the defendent states, "I will not possess ot have in my residence or in my vehicle any deadly weapons.(Examples:firearms,martial arts weapons or explosives)Therefore, Orange County Corrections contacted the duty judge and explained what had happened. Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson said that he would take no action until he spoke with the judge who issued the bail order. Circuit Judge Stan Strickland was contacted by Judge Dawson this morning. Since there is no indication that the defendant was aware of the weapon being in the trunk of the car on the property, Judge Dawson indicated that Judge Strickland, based on the facts related to him, did not wish to either modify the conditions of Casey Anthony's bail or to bring her back into custody as a resut of this incident. Casey Anthony remains on home confinement as a condition o her bail. Curently there is no existing public record related to this icident in that all of the communications were verbal. This statement is the only information that I will have to release this weekend. We will not be doing on-camera or on-air interviews regarding this matter. The home confinement agreement referenced above has already been sent to this distribution list. If you did not retain it, please reply to this email and request a copy. More than 800 ppl showed up for the search today with TES.

The Anthony's installed something new on the exterior corner of their house closest to the front door. We suspect it may be some type of security device.

Sometime between 12am and 1am. this morning, Orange County Corrections Department Home Confinement personnel requested Orange County's Sheriff's Office accompany them to the home where Casey Anthony is on home confinemendt as a condition of her bail. The request was the result of law enforcement tip that a weapon was present on the property. A handgun was surrendered to law enforcement from the trunk of George Anthony's car in the garage. The weapon is now being held in Orange County Sheriffs Office property for safekeeping. Condition 15 of the Home confinement Agreement signed b the defendent states, "I will not possess ot have in my residence or in my vehicle any deadly weapons.(Examples:firearms,martial arts weapons or explosives)Therefore, Orange County Corrections contacted the duty judge and explained what had happened. Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson said that he would take no action until he spoke with the judge who issued the bail order. Circuit Judge Stan Strickland was contacted by Judge Dawson this morning. Since there is no indication that the defendant was aware of the weapon being in the trunk of the car on the property, Judge Dawson indicated that Judge Strickland, based on the facts related to him, did not wish to either modify the conditions of Casey Anthony's bail or to bring her back into custody as a resut of this incident. Casey Anthony remains on home confinement as a condition o her bail. Curently there is no existing public record related to this icident in that all of the communications were verbal. This statement is the only information that I will have to release this weekend. We will not be doing on-camera or on-air interviews regarding this matter. The home confinement agreement referenced above has already been sent to this distribution list. If you did not retain it, please reply to this email and request a copy. Did you know that a searcher had suffered heat sickness?Wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact I would be surprised if there weren't any heat related problems. Last June in Houston we had at least 3. I was one of them. Last Sat night a TES member was taken to the hospital for a heart condition. He is home and ok now.

Le needs to get a search warrant or whatever it is called to go in and take it...but they could have gotten articles of clothing and stuffed animals when they went in on the 2 earlier searches of the house.

You're right Nicky! The sheriff's office is involved in the TES search for Caylee and the Anythony's refusing to provide scent materials for them is very very close to obstruction.

I wanna say something about the scent thing. I'm thinking that cadaver dogs aren't going to smell the living scent of Caylee. And tracking dogs aren't going to pick up the scent of a cadaver or a living Caylee after this length of time. Now cadaver dogs will sniff out a cadaver, but would tracking dogs pickup the scent of .. for instance .. Caylee's clothes laying on the ground some where? If they came up on them? I don't think they could track TO the clothes though after this length of time. I'm no expert, so I'm asking for opinions.

Normally it is not disclosed where searches have been or being done. This happens in case the perp is watching and listening. A perp that is not known or not in custody. I heard of a TES case (not sure if it's true) where the perp moved the body to an area that had been searched. Now we all think casey is the perp, but what if she had an accomplice. A perp that is not known or not in custody. I heard of a TES case (not sure if it's true) where the perp moved the body to an area that had been searched. As you can see I am very green in the search ethics, never having been in one, so I do appreciate you informing me.

What I'd like to do, knowing what I now know, is put the maps up after the searches have ended. I think it is important for the membership here, and for anyone who might consider becoming a part of a search, to know others have and how they are appreciated.

I hope when the searches end you and XMG and Bump and others will pm me with the areas so I can do that. I want to attribute each area to the right person with their avatar and member name.

Hopefully, you and the other searchers will understand and agree to do that. It sends an important message.

I just finished reading the last thread, I'm a bit behind as I had some real-life things to do this morning. I want to address a few things I read....

This board is not like other boards, such as TruTv, WS and so on... We are here to provide help and support for families of missing persons. We are not here just to have a message board, we put in many hours, money etc in order to help others and hopefully make a difference for them. First and foremost, we are a victim advocate site. All the other forums on different subjects are just something added that some have asked for.

It's in our TOS that we will not allow bashing of victims or their family members. The Anthony's have put themselves out there and I have let a lot of things go on.. but some push it to the limit with what they are saying about these people. Please stop and think about what you are saying.. I have had PMz and emails from other family members of missing persons and they are upset with me and the board. They want to know if they or their families will be bashed if they post here. They are upset at the joking and playing on the threads.. they ask me if we are really serious about helping them or just using their situation to draw in posters. These are children and adults that are missing, they are loved by their families and to anyone that has someone missing this is not joking matter.


To answer a questions, yes LE and Media do read here. Yes, we have been asked by LE to not discuss some things and to try to keep things as accurate as we can.. Which is one of our main goals anyway. We do not want to become a 'gossip' board like so many others are. You may not be aware, but we are in direct contact with LE quite often on different cases. We have some great researchers here that seem to find things others have not. We have been asked by LE to do research on some cases.

We have an attorney that advises us and he has read a lot of the threads and is telling me that some of the inappropriate comments being said could cause us some legal problems. I know some of you that posted on the Anna Forum are aware of some legal problems other sites had with information that was posted. We had to be very diligent in there also so we would not be involved in a lawsuit. We try to make this an enjoyable place for all to post. We don't allow calling other posters names, fighting etc..

Bottom line, our main purpose of being here is to help missing persons and their families. We have set up an area for anyone to talk about O/T things, to joke around, say good morning, good night whatever. So I don't think we are out of line in asking that posters please respect that. If something is your opinion it only takes a second to type IMO.. not a big deal. All inappropriate posts will be deleted and all O/T posts will be moved. I am sorry if this upsets some, but that's how it has to be. We are not trying to be mean, we are trying to be responsible and trying to make a difference to some families in need. We appreciate any and all help we receive in trying to accomplish this.

I just finished reading the last thread, I'm a bit behind as I had some real-life things to do this morning. I want to address a few things I read....

This board is not like other boards, such as TruTv, WS and so on... We are here to provide help and support for families of missing persons. We are not here just to have a message board, we put in many hours, money etc in order to help others and hopefully make a difference for them. First and foremost, we are a victim advocate site. All the other forums on different subjects are just something added that some have asked for.

It's in our TOS that we will not allow bashing of victims or their family members. The Anthony's have put themselves out there and I have let a lot of things go on.. but some push it to the limit with what they are saying about these people. Please stop and think about what you are saying.. I have had PMz and emails from other family members of missing persons and they are upset with me and the board. They want to know if they or their families will be bashed if they post here. They are upset at the joking and playing on the threads.. they ask me if we are really serious about helping them or just using their situation to draw in posters. These are children and adults that are missing, they are loved by their families and to anyone that has someone missing this is not joking matter.


To answer a questions, yes LE and Media do read here. Yes, we have been asked by LE to not discuss some things and to try to keep things as accurate as we can.. Which is one of our main goals anyway. We do not want to become a 'gossip' board like so many others are. You may not be aware, but we are in direct contact with LE quite often on different cases. We have some great researchers here that seem to find things others have not. We have been asked by LE to do research on some cases.

We have an attorney that advises us and he has read a lot of the threads and is telling me that some of the inappropriate comments being said could cause us some legal problems. I know some of you that posted on the Anna Forum are aware of some legal problems other sites had with information that was posted. We had to be very diligent in there also so we would not be involved in a lawsuit. We try to make this an enjoyable place for all to post. We don't allow calling other posters names, fighting etc..

Bottom line, our main purpose of being here is to help missing persons and their families. We have set up an area for anyone to talk about O/T things, to joke around, say good morning, good night whatever. So I don't think we are out of line in asking that posters please respect that. If something is your opinion it only takes a second to type IMO.. not a big deal. All inappropriate posts will be deleted and all O/T posts will be moved. I am sorry if this upsets some, but that's how it has to be. We are not trying to be mean, we are trying to be responsible and trying to make a difference to some families in need. We appreciate any and all help we receive in trying to accomplish this.

And re: the scent item, anything LE has taken into evidence is sealed - I don't know if they would unseal any of the evidence they have collected to use as a scent item.
