Has anyone been watching this show on CBS? I have and it is nearly at the finale. That will be on Wednesday night. Would love to hear your thoughts on it if you watch it?

I have watched it this season and can say have enjoyed it, then and again I am a big lover of pets.
Was sorry to see Bill & Star leave, he was a kind hearted man. JD has a we deserve to win attitude, IMO. So hoping the maltise wins. (their names slip my mind, want to say laurie.
Have gained a few tips on having my pup listen when she is being spoken too.

Laurie is the maltese's owner, his name is Andrew. I hope they win too, loved watching him with the elephant, he obviously loves Laurie a lot, it is sweet. Star and Bill were great too. Like you, I was disappointed to see them leave as I had hoped they would win but now it is up to Andrew and Laurie to win.

Guess we will find out tomorrow night.
What do you think of these judges? Sorta not impressed with them.

I think the man is good but the women are a bit catty for my liking, I especially don't like the one who made that comment last week about Andrew being unnaturally close to Laurie, that is little dogs for you, they depend on you far more than what larger dogs do and as a result, the bond that they can have with good owners like Laurie as very strong. My pom Sandy is very similar to Andrew in that way when it comes to me.

Like you, I did not like that remark, I said DUH, why own a dog if it is not loyal to you and only you and the family. I have a dashaund about 5 mo. old, she is loyal to no one, seriously she loves everybody & even the kitties, she can't get enough attention.

That's sweet but be careful with her, she needs to be good with strangers but wary of them at the same time. Daschunds are cute animals.

Must say I loved the outcome, Travis & Presley. Have a fondness for boxers.
Totally fell off the sofa when the announcers introducing the remaining HG, said JD was a military brat. Not putting down the military, just making a point he acted like a brat. LOL
While Andrew has attachment issues with Laurie, do not see that as a bad thing, at least when she leaves the area, he does not bark and whine like some dogs do.
(ugh, my daughter in laws does)
When Travis was thanking all for their win, he was so humble and gracious, which made them even more the real winners of the GMD.

It was really wonderful to see Travis and Presley win, Presley is so adorable and playful and Travis is a really nice guy and good owner. I wasn't surprised really that Andrew didn't win the title (though it would have been nice if he did) as he is only a small dog and he struggled a little bit with that last physical challenge but he was still awesome when it came to grabbing the toy from underneath the elephant, he had no fear whatsoever!!

Should have guessed it would be Travis and Presley, when the judges said nothing to Laurie about picking Andrew up on the last comp, instead of letting him climb the steps like Presley did.
Had to agree with them on that Travis made it fun for Presley.

I watched it, but I thought the show was a little boring to be honest! And I love dogs!!! But the one thing I saw that impressed me the most was little Andrew with the elephant!!! That was absolutely spectacular!!!
I call my coonhound The Greatest American Dog...but I know for a fact we would have been dismissed the first day. :67302:

I am glad Presley won. I liked Andrew too. I would have been happy with either one winning.
