Post your theories here so we can read what everyone else theorizes and why. Perhaps we can see a broader picture with all the theories and can come up with a place to suggest the searchers in FL to search.
Something to think about.
1) Do you believe C/G/L knows the truth and when did they find out?
2) Do you believe C/G/L are protecting Casey by withholding the truth from LE?
3) Do you believe C/G/L will stick to the kidnapping story?

My theory to what happened to Caylee is she drowned in the family pool. I originally believed it was an accident but now I'm leaning towards intentional after reading the 400 page document and listening to Casey's interrogation yesterday 9/12/08 and thing's we've read like Cindy's myspace message, Casey's tattoo and other facts we have.
I believe Casey borrowed the shovel to break into the shed to get the gas cans to burn Caylee's body.
I believe Casey backed her car up to the garage and put Caylee in the trunk of her car until she decided where she would put Caylee.
I believe the chloroform was used to clean the car.
I believe Casey parked the car next to the dumpster in case Tony smelled anything she could blame it on the dumpster.
I believe Casey left her purse on the seat hoping the car would be stolen.
I somewhat believe Casey told Cindy prior to July 15th what happened to Caylee. (Casey's Version/kidnap) and Cindy told George & Lee.
I believe the cover-up by G/C/L was concocted and agreed upon amongst the 4 of them prior to calling LE on July 15.
I believe C/G/L will never accept the forensics and will continue to protect Casey.
All of the above are my theories and just my opinion.

My theory subject to change.
On or about June 9th, Casey and Cindy had a confrontration of monumental proportions. Casey, in retailation decided the best way to hurt Cindy was to remove Caylee away from her care. Upon doing this, Casey found that dragging Caylee to *adult parties* was going over like a lead ballon. Think Amy's comment on this. Casey was in a spot, she was trying like heck to attach herself to TonE, but what could she do with Caylee at her hip. She realized she had bitten off more than she could chew when she no longer had Cindy to care for Caylee. The rest is history...........

Gosh this is a tough one.... So here is MY theory
Cindy, G and Ca had a big fight about her not being responsible and stealing from them. Cindy was going to file for custody of Caylee. Casey left home with Caylee and needed attention from a male friend. She wanted to go out and party SO IMO she drugged Casey so she would sleep and she could party. Then I think she left Cay in the car one too many times for a long time and when she returned Caylee was dead and she paniced...
Then spent 30 days scheming up a story about the babysitter.. because along the way she made a point of telling people that Cay was with the Nanny. I think she brought Cay to her parents home borrowed a shovel and buried her while she found the perfect spot to dispose of her. Thats is WHY she made so many calls in a row to her mom and dad to make SURE they were NOT home.... Then she dug her up put her in the trunk again (hence the dirt in trunk) and brought her to a place where there are alligators to eat her and there would be NO evidence.!!
I think this is WHY she is SO sure Cay wont ever be found BECAUSE SHE WAS EATEN!
She stole the gas cans to burn Caylees clothes and backpack and maybe her cell phone as well cuz the gator wont eat that!
I wonder what the digestion is for a gator? Hmm Im gonna loof that up! :shrug1:

No, she burned the cellie silly cuz the gator didnt eat it :67302:
What do alligators eat?
Alligators primarily hunt at dusk or during the night. They lay motionless in wait for prey. Their prey selection seems to be determined primarily by size. An alligator's diet depends on what is available to it, which means it will eat just about anything including fish, frogs, birds, turtles, insects, snakes, small mammals, other alligators, white-tailed deer, wild hogs, and sometimes people's pets. Once the prey is caught, it is typically swallowed whole. Alligators have tremendously powerful jaws that can crush turtle shells and the bones of small mammals. A flap in their throat allows alligators to capture prey underwater without water entering their breathing passages.
When prey animals are too large to be swallowed whole (deer, wild hogs), the alligator will stash its kill underwater, pinning it under a submerged log or anywhere it can be wedged in for safe keeping. The alligator must then wait until the prey animal's hide is rotted and soft enough for the alligator to tear off chunks. Alligator teeth are designed for crushing and for a strong grip on prey. They are not sharp teeth like a bobcat or a wolf have for tearing meat

Ok, here goes ~ my theory.
I don't believe Caylee died accidentally. I believe Casey wanted to get rid of her for at least a couple of reasons, being she was in the way of the single, partying lifestyle Casey wanted, and she wanted to get back at Cindy for paying more attention to Caylee than she was getting (jealousy). Maybe she did drug or chloroform Caylee to cause her death, or maybe smothered her while she was drugged. I still think it's possible she purposely drowned her in the pool, then left her body there in the yard for a couple of days until when she backed the car into the garage and removed her because she was afraid her parents would find her there. She might have driven around for a while (days) with her in the trunk while her body was decomposing, then either put her in a dumpster or a pond where there are gators. I think Casey didn't realize some fluids from decomp had gotten in the car trunk until the smell became so bad by 6/27 she ditched the car at Amscot hoping it would be stolen.
I think the Zanny story was what she was counting on all along being believed if for nothing else than to send everybody on a wild goose chase looking for this person and make her parents believe Caylee was still alive. I think a lot of what happened was to get back at them by taking Caylee from them. :1187603408.CR.Mothe

My theory is that Caylee drowned in the pool. I believe that Casey buried her in the backyard until she could figure out what to do. I believe that at some point Casey put Caylee's remains in the trunk of her car to move them. I think that sometime around June 26th George went out to Casey's car to get the wheel wedge and found either Caylee's remains or evidence that Caylee had been in the trunk and he helped Casey cover up at that point. I believe that the chloroform was used as a cleaning agent.
This is my theory and my opinions.

I think it's possible George was involved too at least afterwards ~ mainly because of the gas can story and supposedly seeing Casey on 6/24 and being near the car trunk, but not smelling any decomp. I know it's possible since the tow truck driver didn't smell anything either (but he says he had a cold), but with George it seems a story he's made up after the fact to cover up for Casey. MOO only, of course.

This could be subject to change, but here goes.
I believe that during the big fight on or around June 15th, Cindy told Casey she could no longer live at home, but that she was prepared to take Casey to court for custody of Caylee. Cindy got to this point when Casey stole the money from her grandmother.
Casey left with Caylee, probably thinking that her mother would back down and she would be returning home soon. But, it didn't happen that way. Cindy wanted Caylee and only Caylee. That is what I believe the supposed conversations were between Cindy and Casey when Casey was staying at TonE's. Casey in the mean time was getting desparate for some fun times. She needed something to knock Caylee out, so she sent for the Chloriform and used that each night, while she partied. Except, one night she went too far with it and overdosed Caylee. She hid Caylee in her parents back yard until she found a place to get rid of her body. She got the shovel from the neighbors to force the door open so she could get gas to burn all the evidence. I believe she planted the car and left her purse so that someone would steal it and she could say that Caylee was in the car. When this didn't happen, the Zanny story was invented.
Cindy was desparately searching for Casey, because of the evidence left behind in the yard. She finally tracked her down through Amy and forced her to come home by threatening police right there and then. Then I believe she was forced to call the LE to get Casey to talk. That's when the truth came out and Casey blamed Cindy for it all because if she hadn't of kicked her out, Caylee would have been home with her. I think in between calls to police, Cindy called George and possibly Lee. They were probably told the story about Zanny, and wanted to believe it, but knew nothing was adding up. I think that from that point on, the Anthony's had to back talk to protect Casey, but they know different. I don't think they know the full details, but I believe they know Casey killed her. Casey is playing on Cindy with the guilt trip of kicking her out, much the same as she was on the phone from the jail.
As I said, subject to change!

Your theory is very close to mine. I didn't think about George possibly finding Caylee's body until someone brought it up one day. That is a huge possibly.
Theorizing further.
George found Caylee's body in Casey's trunk on June 26. G/C/C/L sit down and come up with a story of the Nanny, running the car out of gas, leaving the purse in the car hoping it will be stolen. Disposes of the body in an area they know she wouldn't be found. Gators, buried, or the like. Perhaps buried in another state.
OR
George found Caylee's body in Casey's trunk on June 26. G/C/C come up with a plan. Noticing I left Lee's name off. Perhaps Lee was in the dark. I truly thought Lee was working with LE in the beginning.
However, if this were true why would they come up with a story that would incriminate Casey by saying she tried to find Caylee for a month. The made up story doesn't add up because it would and has incriminated Casey.

:0009:
This is why I don't think any of her family knew what had happened at the time or they would've come up with something better. I do think though that George made up the seeing the gas cans in the trunk on the 24th so as to absolve Casey of having Caylee's body there, but it didn't take away from the initial comments about the dead body smell in the car when they picked it up on 7/15. If he'd really seen the gas cans that day, why didn't he cancel the police report? :shrug1: MOO

My theory:
Casey took off on the 9th of June with Caylee in tow. Destination? According to Cindy she took off for a vacation and time to bond with Caylee. What she did was party hardy and drags Caylee around to anyone who would watch her. When she couldn’t find anyone to watch Caylee she gave Caylee a little something to keep her sleeping on the couch during adult parties. I think she dosed her with xanax and xanax became Zanny the nanny.
On the 15th of June, Casey and Caylee got back from “vacation” and Cindy took Caylee to the nursing home on the 15th. Then Cindy takes Caylee to a friend’s for dinner. (No word on what George did on Father’s day) That night Casey announced she wanted Cindy and George to watch Caylee for a couple of weeks so she could bond with Tony. The family has a loud fight about her irresponsibility toward Caylee and how she takes advantage of her parents. Late that same night Casey leaves the house with Caylee.
Caylee starts crying. She can’t take her to Tony’s because they have made it clear it would be better if she didn’t. She is furious from the confrontation with Cindy and George, and now she is furious with Caylee for crying and being in the way. She thinks about how Caylee has changed her life, how she is tied down with Caylee, how if Caylee wasn’t in the picture she could have a guy like Tony and her own life outside of her mother’s home and her domination. She acts out this fury by putting Caylee in the trunk. She’s out of xanax so she puts a rag with chloroform over Caylee’s face until she stops moving. She drives around for a while, and then returns to Tony’s.
June 16th Casey waits until she knows mom and dad are at work and calls repeatedly to make sure they are not home. She goes home wanting to stash Caylee there or put her into the pool. She sets it up to look like someone opened the gate and puts the ladder on the pool and then decides that might bring her into explaining it to LE. So put her in the playhouse instead, covering her with toys.
After dad leaves for work on the 17th she goes by the house, picks up Caylee placing her in the trunk. She goes about her business as if nothing happened and thinks about what to do next.
On the afternoon of the 18th the trunk is starting to have a distinct order and she returns to the house to put her into the ground. She borrows the neighbors shovel and tries to dig up where the hibiscus bush had been, and put her there. She puts her in, but the hole wasn’t deep enough and it just got to be too much work. She changes her mind. She returns Caylee to the trunk in one of the Anthony’s garbage bags and returns the shovel to the neighbor.
Casey stays with Tony and travels in his car to where the action is so she really only needs to park her car in the lot while planning what to do. Everyday that goes by she parks it as close to a dumpster as possible.
The odor is starting to attack attention and she can’t stand it. On the 23rd she decides to burn the car and its contents. She breaks into the shed at C & G’s stealing the gas cans.
Casey abandons setting it on fire, because she can’t figure how or where to burn the car and not attract attention.
George discovers she took the gas cans from the shed, again, and calls it into LE on the morning of Tuesday the 24th. Casey is told about it and returns the gas cans, after C & G have left for work.
The 26th she puts Caylee into a dumpster at one of the places she knows is lit, deserted, and not likely to be spotted at night. I think Jay Blanchard Park may have been the perfect place. Afterwards, she drives to Amscot, parks by the dumpster and takes a walk to the 24 hour Walmart up the street. She hangs out there until morning, grocery shops, and calls Tony to pick her up.

I don't believe George. A door closed does not a person at home make.
I'm not saying they are lying. I think they are filling the blanks after LE brought the video on the 15th to their attention. They had no memory of it before then, so I don't trust them to be correct in recounting those 2 dates.

Caylee is alive and well.
Caylee was given to a competent and loving couple to keep permanently, based upon a promise never to reveal the whereabouts of Caylee. Money may or may not have been involved.
Motivations:
=all-consuming hatred of Cindy is the dominant and motivating issue.
Even in jail Casey has the satisfaction that Cindy will never never see the child again.
So she is satisfied to take what comes for that continuing and delicious fact. Nothing is more important.
She is enjoying all the attention, publicity, press reports and daily furor.
Especially delightful to her is the misery and expense she is causing Cindy who will never know if Caylee is alive or dead so will grieve every day of her life.
Nothing could be sweeter revenge for Casey, who knows Caylee is alive and happy and all memory of Grandma will be lost to her.
Secondary is:
=desire for freedom from her and Caylee, who she never wanted, to live her life as she sees fit.
=evidence of death in the auto was faked with the help of person[s] who know police methods and testing procedures. Just enough was left to suggest but not prove Caylee is dead.
A murder case would not be now or ever supported by the evidence.
= The theft charges will result in very little time; all charges will result in tolerable [to her] jail time with eventual release on parole and~
= she has won~in her mind.
To her it is worth it.
=Pre-trial release of evidence by the prosecutor and LE will hurt the theft and neglect cases against her because of ethics violations and the fact that major parts of it are irrelevant to the charges.
A court may suppress much of it and dismiss some charges.
=her conduct will become more bizarre as time goes by to simulate mental deterioration and need for hospitalization rather than jail.
Best of all, Caylee is alive and well; Lord let it be so~

Here is my theory:
Casey knows the East-Side Rapist that raped two women in Blanchard Park over the last couple of years. He has been described as being between 20 and 25 years old. Her age group. This time, he killed his target. Casey was either there when it happened, or was called to help him get rid of the body. Nicole Ganguzza was killed on June 10, 2008. She has hair similar to Caylee's in length and color. The body was found behind a post office two miles from the park. Now, if the white car was used to move the body, decomp materials would be present. Now, say Casey, always on the lookout for a money-making scam, tries to blackmail the rapist/killer for her silence. He says sure, meet me at blah blah blah (the empty apartment? Blanchard Park? Casey has used both as the places she "dropped" Caylee off). Now, instead of giving Casey money, he swipes Caylee and says here's what you say and do and you forget about the murder or Caylee gets killed. Caylee is taken out of the area (I have been in contact with the person that sighted Caylee at Orlando Airport on July 2nd with an elderly woman.) This would explain all of the early crazy things that Cindy was saying about Casey leading the police close but afraid to be specific. Perhaps Casey was not wanting immunity for her role in Caylee's disappearance, but for her role in the Ganguzza murder/coverup. Have the police ran the dna of the hair sample through the general database? Have they compared it to Ganguzza? Have they looked at Casey's cell phone pings the night of the murder? Did she know anyone with priors for assault or rape? Did she know anyone connected with Ganguzza? Was she sleeping with her husband? She seemed to be sleeping with everyone else in Orlando!

Welcome to HFTM, Susan.
They hair they found was linked to a dead Caylee, there was also a decomposing body in the trunk of Casey's car, along with high levels of chloroform. The authorities have also checked the cell phone pings which is why they were searching for Caylee around those pings. I don't know if she is associated with any murder or any coverup for that fact.
It was never a positive sighting of Caylee at the airport or at least that LE confirmed.

So here goes my theory...
Huge argument on June 15th, Casey takes Caylee and leaves. (I don't believe either Cindy's memory of her sleeping there that night or George's memory of seeing them leave that morning. Much too nonchalant of a scene for morning after Mom tried to strangle her!)
Driving around fuming, whining and complaining to friends (all of the cell phone calls night of 15th and early morning of 16th)
Caylee (like any typical two-year-old) is tired of driving around, starts asking to go home to Grandma. Casey is in no mood to hear this, particularly on this night.
(Remember that during her interview with LE she started to say(paraphrasing here...): "No, she didn't make any fuss about not seeing me, but her grandma..." when she was interrupted by the LE. I sure wish the LE would have let her finish THAT thought!)
She has been using Xanax for some time to sedate Caylee when no other sitter is available (Not sure about leaving her in the trunk, although I would not be surprised. Just don't know if I can see that.)
However, since blowup with Annie (I think I remember reading that they had some sort of falling out?) Casey can't get Xanax. But Ricardo has turned her on to Chloroform for their "activities" and she thinks it might be a good substitute. She chloroforms Caylee and continues whatever else it was she did until the early hours of the morning. Finally finds somewhere to crash, (Maybe in the car?) Caylee appears to be sleeping peacefully, why disturb her?
When she finally wakes up on the afternoon of the 16th, she finds Caylee was not just sleeping. Either the chloroform was too much for her little body, or she left her in the car while she slept somewhere else and the heat killed her. Either way, frantic flurry of phone calls to others for help, but no response. She drives around in a panic, maybe thinking of ditching the body near the airport. (Cell phone pings in that area.) Then, calms down a bit and starts to come up with a plan. Places body in the trunk.
June 18th-19th returns home, going to bury in the back yard. Borrows shovel, but finds that digging a grave is not as easy as it looks in the movies. After trying to bury body sees that it is obvious and will be quickly found. (Second flurry of calls was either a panic attack and momentary change of heart, or part of a scheme to frame it as an accident. Again, nobody answers so we move on to another plan.) Changes mind, puts body back in trunk and slips into denial.
Drives around with body for a few days, when smell begins to permeate car. June 24th, smell is finally unbearable, so she stages running out of gas, Tony drives her to the house to steal gas cans.
Tries (maybe succeeds) at burning body somewhere. (I tend to think fails, since burning bodies is not as easy as it is on movies either. Maybe then she dumps into a swamp and hopes the gators dispose of the rest.) Either way, body is gone, but smell is not, and getting worse.
Cooks plan to ditch car and hope it gets stolen. Stages empty gas tank event again, after parking next to dumpster at Amscot and running the engine until it dies.
I think it is possible that she had help, but I think she managed it pretty much all by herself, knowing that she would have a heck of a time lying her way out of a dead child. I have some theories about the ZG angle as well, but this post is plenty long enough already. If anyone is interested, I can give that opinion too. Speaking of which,
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS MY OWN OPINION, nobody else's. I take full responsibility for it.

Hi geet :) Good theory! I think all that you've said is a possibility and would fit with what we know. I don't think she wanted the car to be stolen (because she locked it), but that's a small point.
I don't believe Caylee is alive. I don't think she was kidnapped, or sold or given away for revenge against Cindy. I definately think Casey did something to her on the 15th or 16th of June. I don't believe GA's story that he watched them leave on the 16th. I definately think Casey put Caylee in that trunk and drove around with her for over a week before ditching the car. I think Casey's plan was to party and enjoy life as long as she could until her parents and Lee caught up with her.. after that, she didn't have a planbecause, IMO she thought her parents would know immediately what she did and has been surprised that they've stood behind her. She wouldn't talk to CA and interpreted Cindy's comments to the media as blame, etc., in her jail phone call.
I think if she had an inkling that her family would believe anything she says and stand behind her, she'd have done a much better job at covering up the evidence. I think she'd have cleaned that car out as best she could and went to them before they came to her. As it is.. she didn't care if her story made any sense because she decided up front that she's an unfit mother, her parents are gonna hate her and she's gonna spend the rest of her life in jail.

Imagine this:
Casey comes forward and admits she gave Caylee up for adoption and promised never to reveal the persons involved so as to protect them from a custody and visitation claim by the grandparents. This is not a crime.
It would explain her lack of tears and her calm demeanor throughout and be that wee bit of truth among the lies:
namely, that C really is with someone else and is ok.
In view of murder charges she has to tell all except who helped her fake evidence of death in furtherance of a bungled kidnap/death/stolen car story.
Caylee is found alive and well with the adoptive parents.
Lord, let it be so.

I would love to hear your theory on ZG.
This theory is a couple of weeks old, written before the charges were actually filed. My thoughts have changed a bit since then, knowing that the cops need some evidence of premeditation in order to charge murder one. However, I still think that the basic premise of this theory is sound. I will annotate where my thoughts have changed in a different color.
I don't give Casey credit for enough intelligence to have cooked up the whole Zenaida backstory off of the top of her head in the minutes before the cops showed up, but I am still doubtful that she premeditated this in anything more than a bitter daydream when feeling particularly angry at her mother. (Once again, she does not seem intelligent enough to really think a plan through that well, though I may be wrong!)**Naturally, as noted above, I now think there must be some compelling evidence of premeditation for the LE to charge Murder One. So change one to my theory is that the premeditation was much more serious than I had thought.** So, how did ZG get involved? Well we know that Casey was getting a semi-steady stream of income via what amounts to "identity theft" of sorts. From using her GM's bank account digits to stealing CCs from mom to writing Amy's checks, she was starting to think she was pretty good at this type of crime and might have planned the next big step - actually assuming someone else's identity.**Now, I think for more than just financial gain...** How she came across ZG's identity I am not sure, there are lots of thoughts floating around this forum but whether she picked up her ID from the tattoo parlor or from Sawgrass, or from another, yet unnamed apartment (remember that Casey and Tony were also looking for apartments, and ZG has said that she had also looked at a lot of different apartments. Did she (Zenaida) ever look at the apartment where Casey's friend worked? Filled out an application or visitor card? I think it may be more than coincidence that they were both looking for an apartment at the same time.) However she (Casey) got Zenaida's information, she picked her as the victim **New theory= victim for framing for kidnapping, and not ID theft...** and started collecting more info on her. (Remember on that dailybs story about ZG that she drives a Hummer... looks like she is rolling gangsta dough right?) Then, the events of the 15-16 of June sidetrack her. **So, with the recent developments, I have to re-think this part slightly. Perhaps Z was not a potential ID theft victim, but a target to be framed? Did the fatal accident or crime of passion mean that Caylee's death happened BEFORE her plan was complete?** I have a hard time explaining how ZG happened to be at the Sawgrass that day, except for coincidence, but perhaps that is what inspired Casey to choose her as her alibi. **Has ZG ever detailed how she came to look at Sawgrass? Did someone suggest it to her?** Casey had already been "stalking" this woman for a while trying to steal her ID, and maybe she runs into her there and a lightbulb goes on... Or her showing up at this complex where so many other threads run through could just be the proverbial red herring... I am intrigued, but not yet convinced with the theories that ZG really is involved somehow and just denying it. However, it wouldn't take much to convince me. That explains how Casey knew so much about this woman whom she now pretends not to recognize. I would REALLY like to know what that object behind Casey's license was that the OCS deputy snatched away, I agree with those theorizing that it was ZG's, and that she snatched it and ran outside to the others thinking she had found a clue to the wherabouts of the nanny. I am sure that LE has that item and is keeping it secret for reasons of their own. **Perhaps this is one of the many clues leading them to believe premeditation - has NOT been released because it was part of the GJ investigation/evidence**
I think Casey had an image of this random woman being hauled away in handcuffs and sitting in jail proclaiming her innocence all the way to Death Row, while Casey could play the part of sorrowing mother. Unfortunately for her, the cops are smarter than she gives them credit for!
So there you have it. Like I said, in the weeks since I initially came up with it, it has had a few holes shot in it, but I think the general basis is still sound: Casey selected Zenaida, stalked her to gather personal info with the intention of framing her. I still believe that Caylee *MAY* have died as a result of an accident or carelessness on Casey's part, and that this forced her hand and she had to hatch her plan before it was complete... but it would not take much to convince me that she *DID* intentionally take her life and had at least a partial plan to cover it up and blame it on someone else. Whether the plan was complete or not, I will never be convinced that Casey is intelligent enough to really succeed at anything like that. She had been convincing those around her of her lies for so long that she was over-confident and underestimated the skepticism of someone who: A. Does not love her and want to believe her stories and B. Makes a living debunking the cover stories of criminals.
What do you think?

Thank you for replying. Your theory was well thought out. I saw many of my theories in there as well while reading.
I think Casey somehow got ZG's name and ran with it as framing. IMO, If ZG was in anyway truly involved that would have came out by now.
I think there may have been information on her computer that we will see in court regarding framing or any other illegal activity.

My theory is that Casey was furious with her mother and took Caylee's life as "punishment" for Cindy's loving Caylee more than Casey, or killed her when Caylee began crying and asking for "Grandma". She drove around for days with the child in the trunk before trying to cremate her, possibly unsuccessfully, and then finally placing Caylee in the dumpster next to where the car was found.
I wonder how well the area was searched where the "stolen" gas cans were found along the side of the road - it makes me wonder if those two cans carried enough gas to incinerate a 2 year old.
I also find it interesting that party girl Casey keeps referring to ZENaida as Zanni, which is a slang street name for Xanax, the drug Casey couldn't get anymore. It sure makes it easier for alibi purposes to choose a name for a ficticious babysitter that she wouldn't easily forget - her favorite choice of a party drug. I would be interested in whether any one in ZG's world also calls her Zanni.
Lastly, it drives me nuts that Nancy Grace keeps referring to Caylee as a 3 year old. Everybody knows that child never made it to her third birthday. :cray:

I think that Cindy was really angry that Casey stole money, again, and demanded that she find a way to pay it back, otherwise she would take Caylee from her, it has long been my opinion that Cindy used Caylee as much as Casey did, as leverage or a whip to use against the other.
I think that when Casey left, on the 15th, it was after a physical confrontation, Casey may have even used Cindy's attack as a way to get Caylee out of the house, perhaps threatening to report the assault, and with her career as a nurse, that could cause her problems professionally.
What has always bothered me, is subtle:
One the 911 tape, Casey begs for one more day, while Cindy is reporting the theft of money and the car, Cindy tells her I gave you a month.
If Cindy was referring to Caylee being missing, why would Cindy, first of all be so calm about it, and if she knew Caylee was missing a month by that time, why was she still focusing on the theft? Why was her first call in regards to her missing Grandchild? It is my opinion, that Cindy was giving Casey a month to repay the theft, and that is what prompted Cindy to hunt her down, and drag her back home, to turn her into the police.
I think at this point, Casey, informed Cindy that Caylee was missing, after the car was found, and Cindy reported it smelled like a dead body was in the car, she confronted Casey, and I do now and will continue to believe that it was at that point, Casey told her mother, at least her version of the truth of how Caylee died, what she did with the body, and Cindy took this information to Lee and possibility George. ( I tend to think that George for the most part is left out of the 'loop' between Cindy and the kids)
I do not think it was an accident, that Cindy removed clothes from the car and washed them, I don't think it was an accident that George and Cindy cleaned the car before LE had the chance to process it. George was a former officer, he of all people should know how important it would be to preserve any possible evidence.
Cindy, as I have mentioned before, often, started lying and spinning her stories in regards to Casey from her first appearance on Nancy Grace. It also troubles me, that no one in that family could remember the last date they saw Casey and Caylee, until the video tape surfaced; It bothers me that Cindy would not turn over her credit card statements, saying she already reviewed them, and 'nothing' is there for police. It bothers me that she lied over and over, claiming the 'phone call' from Caylee did come in. It bothers me that in her first police interviews she did all she could to push the 'blame' on Jesse.
It bothers me that George claimed that suspects where under surveillance, when LE completely denied such an action.
I do not believe that Casey killed Caylee on accident, I think she killed her in a rage, a rage that has been brewing and bubbling in that household for most likely many years before Caylee was even born.
In short, I think that Casey is being protected by her family, they have put out lies, deceived the public, and in my opinion, interfered with the police investigation. I don't think that Cindy or Lee's motivation is such a deep compassion for Casey, because they don't want to loose two loved ones, but rather, self preservation, and the desire to save face in the community. I also think, that if Casey beats these charges, Cindy and Lee are definitely looking forward to possible book/movie deals.
As far as George, I think he is more or less a yes man for the Queen Cindy. I think that George for many years has just done as he was told were the children were concerned; that is the only reason I can see him waffling on what he told police, and what he shouted to the press regarding the smell of the car.
Lee is the calm one of the group, I think he knows that his mother is a loose cannon, and George is more or less a slave to Cindy's whims, if LP is correct, he was the one that changed the minds of his parents to agree to a polygraph test.
In short, I think all of them know that Caylee has gone to live with the Angels, they have all done what they could to cover up, mislead, and lie to investigators, and to the same public they begged to help them bring Caylee home.
So, while yes, I think Caylee's murder was by the hands of Casey, and Casey alone, I also believe that as this sad case unfolded, her family all became accessories after the fact.
All my opinion, and I take full responsibility for this post, as I have with any other.

Tracian, you very well may be correct about Casey asking for one more day regarding the money and not Caylee. I just listened to the audio many times. here is the transcript.
Cindy Anthony: 'Cause my next thing will be down to child (inaudible) thing and we'll have a court order to get her. If that's the way you want to play, we'll do it and you'll never. . . .
Casey Anthony: That's not the way I want to play. . . .
Cindy Anthony: Well then you have. . . .
Casey Anthony: Give me one more day.
Cindy Anthony: No, I'm not giving you another day, I've given you a month. . . .
The conversation, and the recording ended when an Orange County Sheriff's Office dispatcher picks up the line.

Thanks Faith for getting the transcripts, IMO that also shows that Cindy did play Caylee as much as Casey did...IMO, this whole family used that little girl as a tool against each other.
ETA: Remember also that Cindy said that Casey was looking for work, and working...that is why she needed a Nanny.
Of course about everything that whole family says is twisted and turned the next time they speak...

I agree Caylee was played between the A's. How sad, now look at the situation. No telling what that baby went thru in almost 3 years of her little life.
I would KNOW if my child was working. I don't use CC's but I sure as hell never gave my debit card to my children either.

Ok, Here goes one of many theories I've had running around in my brain. This is my latest theory.
On June 15th Cindy and Casey got in to a huge fight. I believe what ever happened to Caylee it happened sometime during the night of the 15th or the morning hours of the 16th. Casey waited until George left and placed Caylee in the playhouse. She left and drove around trying to think what to do next.
Casey came back home with possible intentions of placing Caylee's body under the playhouse but decided it was either too hard to dig a grave or too risky. So possibly after digging for a little while returned the shovel to the neighbor.
She then loaded Caylee into the trunk of her car buying herself more time to think of a place where there was a greater chance of Caylee not being found. She drove around possibly for a few days with that poor child in the trunk. All the time doing research.
She finally found the perfect place and then either by herself or with the help of someone, possibly Lee took Caylee to a final resting place near by in her comfort zone. The reason I think it may have been Lee, is it seems he has just vanished for now.
I truly believe that Casey got rid of Caylee because: A) she was jealous B) The huge Fight C) She was angry as hell at Cindy and this was the perfect way to get back at her and give Casey the chance to party all she wanted to without having the burden of a child

See, I think Casey told Cindy she couldn't find Caylee. That's why she said, your not getting another day, I've given you a month. Remember, July 3rd, she sent Lee to try and find Casey.
I think they all have knowledge, after the fact!

Hiya, LLL!!!!
Thanks for your reply!!! I just had to rant because I am sick of the excuses for the A's.
As I am. I can't stand the fact that if it wasn't for Cindy, we would have never known about Caylee. Casey would have just went on as if nothing was wrong or missing. It was Cindy who turned her daughter in.
I think the A's about face is just as horrendous and the dastardly deed itself. Why haven't they stepped up to find out the truth, at all costs.
Deep in their hearts they must know the truth but are protecting Casey, as usual. They would gain more respect if they stepped up and for once in their lives, made Casey responsible for her actions.
They are spinning tales and Caylee sightings just creating doubt, this smoke screen at the possibility Caylee was kidnapped. they will not get away from the DNA evidence on the hair and death ring. :lex_10: Nope, that will make the case for sure...

How in the world would Casey come up with $25k in 30 days? Is that the money you are talking about?
Didn't Cindy cash out her 401K to pay the debt of GA and Casey's cc spending spree?
Why hasn't Cindy handed over her statements? LE just needed to get a warrant to get them but voluntarily looks better.

That's my belief too, Nicky. That fight that Cindy now adamantly disputes happened at all is what lead to Caylee's demise. Casey is an evil woman who had years to ferment this personality. It didn't just occur overnight.

I think that it was about money. Cindy repeats everything that Casey says to her...apparently she believed that Casey STILL worked at Universal studios.
What logic in anyone's sane mind would make Cindy allow Casey 30 days to produce Caylee, when according to reports, she was in the process of taking custody away from Casey? And if it was about Caylee, why for the love of Pete, did she not FIRST report that a child is missing???
You have a loving heart, LLL...but Cindy and that family are twisted, completely and totally, IMO, they went into 'save face' mode very quickly, too quickly to be the act of 'loving parents'...this IMO, goes deeper and is far more sinister. Cindy out and out LIED on NG the first day she appeared.
We all love our children, but we all heard the way Casey talked to Cindy, about 'her Cameo'...they are enjoying the spot light, and Casey was ticked that she was not front and center, and Cindy, again, IMO, sounded patronizing, even baiting by the way she spoke to Casey...this is not the Cleavers my no means...
I adore my 21 year old daughter, and I would never talk behind her back to her friends, (Like Cindy did) nor would I protect her if I thought she caused the death of my innocent grandchild.
Maybe I am wrong, but I believe that the children I raise while not perfect, are not capable of murder, and if I found that they were, then my child, that I loved and raised died that very same day...what I would see before me, is only a shell...the soul, that being from within departed at the time of such a horrible deed.
I am sorry, I respect all of you, so much, but IMO, when this case goes to trial, we will find out more about the A's...there is something dark about that family...and that darkness lead to the death of an Angel.

I have some comments and questions:
1- Can they build a radius of where caylee can be by the mileage on the car (from either an oil change or by maybe the father remembers what the numbers were..) then subtract mileage according to the pings on her phone to know how far she traveled.. this is to deduce how far she traveled during the days she didnt have her phone on.. and some how u get a radius on where caylee can be?
2- is the reason the cadaver dogs hit the pool was because she was gonna stage a drowning but decided against it?
3- have the tested soil sample on the car tires?

I wonder if that can be done, if LE thought of that.
I happen to think she travelled outside of Orlando or Orange county which is why she is so smug, so arrogant...
I'm sure they've tested the soil samples but we have only been shown so little of the evidence. I'm sure they are holding out until trial.

What if Caylee is alive and if they had bothered they could have found her with their contacts and experience?

I don't know but I doubt it. I think bounty hunters usually don't look for dead people. And I think bounty hunters get paid to find living people .. people that are criminally wanted. I don't think anyone has offered to pay any bounty hunters to look for a living, non criminally wanted Caylee.

I don't think they were sightings. Only a handful of sightings and they have all been checked out I think

You are so right, Tracian. I am a loving soul with much compassion.
I hate that CA is taking KC's side and poor precious Caylee is lost in that translation. I too feel I know my children and if anyone of them killed their child or lost their child and didn't report it for 31 days, I too would have to find out more, I too would still love my child, but the support of a murderer would end, immediately.
There are no compelling reasons I could understand to not tell the truth. If I knew my child and spoke to their friends about her being a sociopath and a pathological liar, I'd have to take a different stance and not try and make her look innocent. It would make me a bigger fool to fall for such nonsense. CA looks like a fool for standing by her evil child. She needs to stand up for Caylee even if the gory details are too much to handle. I'd rather know the truth instead of going through the rest of my life always wondering what would have become of my grandchild? I wonder what she looks like now? I wonder how much she's grown, etc...Not knowing to me wold be worse than knowing...but that's just me.

It's hard to find someone when you don't have credible information, Grins.
Those sightings have been checked out and dismissed. The leads given were gone through and still nothing proves to a live Caylee. The evidence released thus far proves Caylee is deceased.
There were about 1500 tips that came to LE, one was, Caylee was kidnapped by the KKK to be used in a sacrifical rite, paraphrasing. Nonsense..
Most of those sightings came from CA, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. LE believe it's a ruse to cause alarm, reasonable doubt. CA has turned this into a tug of war, going against anyone who speaks of a dead Caylee.
If there are any credible leads, LE has checked them out to no avail.

Good points all; they were tips and not sightings; it just seems that so much was left undone in looking for Caylee. BHs at times find people when FBI cannot.
Would like more info on where the friends went in PR and who they saw and why.
I think that Casey was a young mother that didn't think and trusted to many people she didn't real know. I don't think she knew there where people out there just like her. I think maybe she got involved with the wrong man. Maybe he enjoyed her child more than her. This is just of course one theory of mine. I think he watched Caylee while she went out, sorta like jesse and his family did. He lived around Amscot or possibly even at the sawgrass apts. She tryed to distance herself from this man, but on the 16th of June she wanted to go out with Tony. So she tryed to call alot of people to no avail so she left Caylee with this man. Maybe he had other kids. Anyway i think she tried to get her back. Maybe he told her he would go get the child but he didn't have a car so maybe she loaned him hers. That's way out there I know. Maybe when she was cleaning Tony's place she was taking his trash. Why esle would the pizza box be in trunk. His trash could of had dirty diaphers, tampons, vomit alsorts of crazy stuff.

Welcome to HFTM, Susi...your theory just stuck a chord with me...
I know a psychic who I asked about Caylee's disappearance. She mentioned to me about a man, 20 years older than Casey whom she gave this child too.
Seems he lived around Hernando county and drove a trunk. I forwarded this info to the hotline and hoping they checked into this. I still have my email conversation with this psychic, who did a reading for me months ago and was spot on...she also lives in the Florida area...hoping LE checked this out!!
I also believe Caylee is NOT in the Florida area which is why KC is so arrogant, so confident that Caylee's remains will not be found...:cray:
Do you think maybe KC and Caylee stayed with this man on the 16th? I think for some reason she met this man in the park on the 17th. Do you think he might of left town with Caylee that night? She talked about Caylee being on vacations and stuff with the nanny. I think there is truth in her lies. I don't think her parents knew anything about this. Her dad is being a cop trying to figure it all out and her mom is being a mom. They all loved this child very much. I think everyone that met her did and that's why we all do. Casey's loves her mom very much even though she doesn't show it. I think KC's mom knows her better than anyone else. KC admired the relationship her parents had with Caylee and wish she had that sorta bond with Caylee. They know KC didn't hurt Caylee. Cindy had some sorta sixth sense, but could not figure it out. That is why she tryed to keep them close. That's why she's is so torn up. I think they need to stay strong, stay together, and respect each others feelings. They need each other right now, more than ever. Alot of people do not care about what they are doing to this family. They are a very important part of this and if the stop talking to police and the media it might not be good for Caylee. They need us to join in and help them and understand. I hope there neighbors get together think about who was coming and going from that house when the anthonys weren't home. It might be something someone doesn't think is important. Don't be distracted by all the negativity. LE of course have to do their job. We are all human and have faults. The Anthony's know their daughter better than anyone else. Let's join them in the search for Caylee.
The Anthonys sure go about it in the wrong way for us to beleive they are participating in any kind of search for Caylee. Seems they spend their time searching what media will have them. You mentioned that Casey said lots of people borrowed her car, with all the lies proven by LE, what makes you think that statement is correct? It appears their own atty. has had enough of their antics, and aligning themselves with an organization that at best, is just a sham.
moo
I don't know what KC said, that was just a theory. Fact KC lies. I don't know the Anthony's personally, it is just a feeling or opinion. All they think about is finding Caylee, and the tv is the best way, it's the fast way to get info all over us. Many missing do not get the kinda coverage Caylee is getting. Which is so sad. If it was me I would go on every program that supported my story. I might even go on some that didn't. It seems rare that you see National News covering missing persons. This is just another theory but the atty. was just representing Cindy and George, it was kinda obvious on NG that he couldn't really do his job it seem like he was dealing with some issues concerning KC. They kinda go hand in hand if you know what I mean. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this atty. He did what he had to do. I don't know of any organization? Maybe it's a battle between opinion's. I respect opinion's, I love to voice mine as you all know. Thanks for all the responses. I believe they are good people, going through a tough time.

From all I have read, the two people who loved, supported and cared for Caylee the most, day to day, were George and Cindy Anthony.
For the two years and ten months of her known happy life this was so.
In fairness, this must be remembered when speaking of them.
"George was trying to piece together the disjointed details Casey was revealing, but came to the same conclusion investigators have: that her story makes no sense. He said he misses looking at the moon and stars with Caylee every night at bedtime.
'I'd give up my life for her,' he said."

That was after the big fight, where Cindy got physical with her because she had found out she was stealing from the grandmother`s account. The baby`s been dead since 1:30, 2:00 AM on the 16th, and therefore, everything else she says as to where she was is a figment of her imagination. It`s made up. It`s a lie. Nobody saw her after that time, starting with, like I say, 1:30, 2:00 o`clock in the morning of the 16th. She`s been dead ever since.

I think if she did drown her and she put her in the shed for the night and then realized she needed to move her..I think she had help and I believe GA was the one he has the background on where and how to hide a body, knowing the ways of the police.
3- have the tested soil sample on the car tires?
Mine I bolded...
I always wondered if they checked the bottom of her boots and shoes also..the soil might just help where she had been.
I just feel sad for Caylee, she never had a chance with this squirrelly family.
Cindy & George make me sick about all their lies.
Cindy is really to my belief just keeping this going for two reasons. to save KC's butt and also to keep those donations coming so she doesn't have to work..what a piece of work. She has totally forgotten about Caylee.

I think Casey had been fantacizing or visualizing getting rid of Caylee since March at least. That's when the searches for chloroform, neck breaking, missing children, etc began, iirc. Visualizing an event makes it much easier to actually do whatever it is that you are visualizing.
But, I do think events on 6/15 propelled her on to doing whatever she did.
There are a few possibilities of how she did what she did, imo.
1. She chloroformed her before breaking her neck in some way.
2. She drowned her, with or without the use of chloroform...hoping that by taping Caylee's mouth (maybe nose, too) would prevent the detection of chlorine in her lungs.
3. POSSIBLY, but not likely, Casey was afraid to admit that she'd been drugging Caylee on a regular basis, and this time it went terribly wrong.
I think Casey might have been drugging Caylee regularly so that she could go out or sleep wherever, but I don't think that has to do with Caylee's death. I think it was, for legal purposes, an intentional and premeditated act.

I remember reading somewhere that KC had been using Xanax and had become unable to score any more prior to Caylee's disappearance. I can't help wondering if she'd been using the Xanax to drug Caylee until she lost her connect and then started using the chloroform. Caylee had to be staying somewhere and there is only a ficticious nanny named Xannie, so where was she REALLY at? Hmmmmm... I hope they can test the hair found in the garbage bag for any previously administered drugs; it would go a long way toward nailing Mommie Dearest to the wall. :madranting94dp:

Tipsters
=cases in the past have shown that some tipsters and those who 'discover' a body actually caused the death of a victim. LE is aware of this pattern and will closely look at the tipster here.
=cases past have shown a desire by some to be a "Hero" and discover a body in a high profile case and achieve a certain "fame." Is that the case here?
LE will consider the above and:
=Did the tipster discover the bag and handle it so as to explain his fingerprints on the bag from prior handling?
=Did the tipster have access to the A home when Caylee was there?
=Is the tipster aware of the actual circumstances of the death although not involved?
=Exactly what were the tips on Aug 11, 12 and 13?
Wording and circumstances? Have tapes? What happened on those dates and after about the tips?
Were they followed up & by whom with what result?
=Were those tips released to the public?
=background of tipster and any criminal record, any contact with A family or KC friends and contacts personally or as meter reader and any prior tips on other cases.
=Psychological history and any current exam of tipster?
=where did tipster get the info for Aug 11, 12, 13 and December?
=is the "gray bag' the same as was found?
=explain: "A sheriff's deputy responded to the area after one of the tips but cleared the scene after a brief visit in which the bag was apparently not located. Nieves said the sheriff's office is investigating the deputy's response..."
http://www.clickorlando.com/news/18311223/detail.html#-
and
"...They also revealed that the utility worker who reported the find of a child’s skull a week ago had been on the scene before and had also called authorities to report a strange odor and something in the woods that was ‘just not right’ in the same area on August 11, 12 and 13th..."

My Goodness, this is so interesting for me to go back and read all the various theories..faith, this is from Sept...and your questions are interesting...so have highlighted what we know/or have more insight now Dec 21/08..
1)Yes, I now believe both Cindy and George knew that Caylee was dead when they smelled that car and went into their own coverup of the evidence is the car. Having said that tho, I dont think they knew how it happened, nor where Caylee was put!
2)YES, they went into protect, support mode right from the giddy up as they regretted getting police involved and Casey being thrown in jail!
3)YES, they will stick to kidnapping story til the end of their days (publically) however, I do believe they now know Casey was indeed responsible, now that Caylee's remains have been found so close to home!

Goodness Faith, so many of your theories are either right on the money, or have been someone broken down....
Shovel use..not to break into shed, as I do believe Toney helped Casey get into Shed to get those gas cans?..Am I right or wrong on that info?
Car backed into garage...Yes..thats when Casey transferred Caylee to the trunk for transfer out of BYard.
Chloroform..I think now that she used that to sedate her child..as now we have some internet searches much earlier on and not after 15th June.IIRC
Parking near dumpster to cover odor of her car..YES..most likely
Purse in car to tempt theft of car, YES..most likely
Cindy and George in the know prior to July 15th, NO..as I dont think they would have involved the police in their quest to find Caylee
Cindy, George and Lee Covering up, YES..HOWEVER not until Casey was jailed after she took investigators on a wild goose chase with lies and fabrication of details
The Anthony's accepting forensics, ..well, now that Caylee's remains have been found and identified, yes I do think the will accept the forensics that Caylee is dead..their only denial will be just who caused Cayle's death.
Finally, drowning in the pool, I really dont think that happened, but the backyard was set up by Casey to indicate that possibility. But I do think She hid Caylee in that shed, until suchtime she could get her out of there without anyone seeing her..
Now, with what we know, I do think Casey put Caylee in that thicket near her school, up the street from the house, because 1) she could keep an eye on it, 2) this place held some significance to her, 3) knew this area had lots of stuff dumped or buried there from her life experiences 4) and her parents were getting too nosey.asking to many questions not to mention almost catching Casey with Caylee in that trunk!!
Its funny how when you look back on gut instincts..way back when, just how close we can be to the truth!

I believe the Anthony's will accept what the defense says happened to Caylee. I also believe it will be blamed on Zanny as always. Cindy asked Casey "Has anyone been in the house? Casey told Cindy that Zanny has a key to the house.
Cindy made a comment that she said what she had to say in the 911 call to get LE there now. That made me believe she faked. She was more upset with Casey over the money than Caylee. Cindy hasn't cried, she's lost a lot of weight. I will always believe she is carrying the truth on her shoulder of Caylee was dead before claiming to know she was missing on July 15. I believe LE & FBI knows this for a fact also.

What set him off I think was the report of the August calls and all of the searches which could have been avoided if they had been investigated thoroughly.
The tropical storm did not come until August 20 so they had 9 days from Aug 11 to blanket the scene.
These calls were red flags:
=a large bag found in a wooded area in the neighborhood!!!
=odor reported
=a bag large enough for a body near the road
=a suspicious bag in an odd place
=calls are from a reliable professional source who
knows the neighborhood
=very little time or cost involved in doing a thorough search
=if snakes were present, call for help in clearing the area
=no excuse for failing here; these calls were within a few weeks of the report of a missing child!
Much more evidence would been recovered in a timely search.

There truly is no excuse whatsoever.
What I don't see mentioned too much, but what hit me right away, is the fact that the remains were probably in better shape than four months later....perhaps the COD could even have been determined. Thus, an even better case against Casey.
It's a shame anyway you look at it. Four months is a very long time.

I am sure LE tried to look in that area and it was just too much underwater.
TM also looked twice, still underwater.
I also think this came at a time when LE had to make a decision to stop all those false leads. Unfortunately, this was not one that was false.
I also feel the family not fully cooperating also put a wrench in this search effort. CA knocked them all eleven ways to Sunday. Had they just cooperated instead of becoming defiant and combative.
Most of all, KC should have told the truth from the beginning. How does a mother not report her child missing the very moment you are aware she was allegedly kidnapped, there enough of blame all the way around.
The best I heard was from TM, this was a cold case before it was even a missing person's case.

Hi LLL!
The meter reader saw the bag and described the bag.
It was not under water according to the eyewitness on August 11, 12 and 13.
"The worker who found the bones on Dec. 11 had called in a tip to police on three consecutive days in August, telling them to look in the same area for the remains.
"Back in August of this year, I had previously reported … that I had spotted something suspicious, a bag, in the same area," said the meter reader, Roy Kronk, reading from a prepared statement Friday.
He wouldn't elaborate.
"I will continue to cooperate fully with the investigation," Kronk told reporters. "I respectively decline to get into the details of what I saw at the crime scene."
His attorney, David Evans, called Kronk a "concerned citizen" and lambasted media speculation that suggested otherwise.
"He has no connection whatsoever to this case or to the Anthony family," Evans said.
There is now an internal probe under way within the police department into how the matter was handled..."

Some things still bother me; things do not make sense; something is wrong~~
=if I am planning to murder my child, do I need to go to the computer and look up shovel?
I do not know what a shovel is?
"A shovel is a tool for lifting and moving loose material such as coal, gravel, snow, soil, or sand and is an extremely common tool which is used extensively in agriculture, construction and gardening. It is usually a hand tool consisting of a broad blade with edges or sides that is fixed to a medium-length handle."
_____so, that's what it is!!
See: For further information if necessary.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shovel
This strikes me as a staged scene. We see it in staged 'burglaries' to cover up a murder. Too many drawers dumped; trying too hard to pretend something.
Stick it in with 'neck breaking'=excuse me, am I that stupid?
"Household items as weapons'=I cannot use my eyes and common sense? Gosh, I never realized that sledge hammer could break her neck.
Then all the really bad chemicals~
that will really show a plan.
Of course, I know after a murder the computer I am using will be taken by police and all this will be recovered and introduced against me at trial. Boy am I dumb.
Use my common sense; how does this all feel?
Too much. Too staged..by someone...

I am a meter reader [MR] and I see a suspicious bag near the A home in a wooded area. Do I look in the bag? What do I see? Trash=ok. Forget it.
BUT no, I call police. What did I see? A skull?
Three times I call.
Why? Do I arrange to meet there? No.
Finally I meet the officer at the scene Aug 13; I can't wait to see inside. I point out the bag. Does the officer open the bag? Sure.
Is there a body or a human skull in the bag?
No body because it would have been big news.
Ok. Too bad; ah well I did my duty.
=common sense=
If there is no body in the bag, the officer reports so. Is the MR satisfied now that no body is in the bag and go away forever?
No.
He comes back to the same bag on December 11, knowing it is of no interest. Why does he do that? What could be different from the last time?
He opens the same bag and a human skull rolls out.
Odd that the officer missed a human skull on August 13. How did the skull and duct tape and many other items of evidence miraculously get into the bag between August 13 and December 11?
If he truly was suspicious after the officer left Aug 13, why not go back later that day or the next day or some day later in August, or in September, October, or November and open and dump all the contents of the bag out and look for himself??
Does this make any sense? Or do you feel a little uneasy about this story.
________
What if a note was found in the bag?
A note that appears to be from a kidnapper saying the 55 days are up?
What if fingerprints are found that do not match any known prints?

Cindy hasn't cried, she's lost a lot of weight. I will always believe she is carrying the truth on her shoulder of Caylee was dead before claiming to know she was missing on July 15. I believe LE & FBI knows this for a fact also.
I think Cindy said later that she said what she had to say in the 911 call because she was backpedaling to help Casey. I think she was very upset and sincere when she said it smelled like a dead body had been in the car. I can hear it in her voice.

Some things still bother me; things do not make sense; something is wrong~#2
August calls by meter reader=if you see something suspicious near Caylee's home and call police, wouldn't you first describe in detail exactly what you saw, why it may be important and why it was suspicious and ask for an officer to be sent immediately to the scene, agreeing to meet there?
Only after describing the find and the possible importance, is it necessary to then tell where it was located.
We hear very little description of what he saw.
In these calls the MR spends most of the time talking about his movements and describing the location in great detail. He does mention the Anthony home/case/neighborhood.
Did we get all of the content of the calls? Was anything edited out and if so, why?

=Why was MR assigned a lawyer? A concerned citizen does not need a lawyer; he is a hero!
Why can't he tell how he discovered the bag on August 11 and tell all that he saw then and each time thereafter?
Why can't he tell whether he got any information as to where the body may be found and from whom?
Why can't he tell what he did for four months from August 11 to December 11 regarding that scene?
Why can't he tell why he went back on December 11?
Why can't he tell whether the bag he opened in December is the same bag he saw in August and whether it is in the same place?
Why can't he tell us his whole story?
Is any story more important?
Isn't his information ...[allegedly, as I disagree]... required to be released under the Sunshine Law?
So............where is it?
Why the delay?
The MR called a press conference; in the spirit of full and honest disclosure why didn't he tell us all about this remarkable story? Is it being revised?
Since he admits he already told his full story to the LE and state attorney, why not tell us?

Grins he needs a lawyer because the defense has already accused him of being the one to have done something to Caylee. What sense does that make.
He had that route, he knew Caylee was missing. He did as we did, try to put clues together. He notices a bag in an odd place he calls it in to police, he gets no response and calls again and again. He's off that route for 4 months goes back and sees that bag, was it the same? I don't know some of his 911 call is edited out when he describes what he sees. He's a good citizen, ex military and did what laid heavy on his mind.
Why doesn't KC come forward and end this all now? Why not tell what truly happened, I mean she's caught with her hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.
KC will continue on with the nanny theory, until the ME can prove KC and ONLY KC acted in this heinous, senseless act! Then the defense will dream up another scenario just to try and get a murderer off. I never want to be a defense attorny, they are second to scum!
How do they justify her not calling 911 the moment she knew her child was taken against her will?
How will they justify how she partied hearty all the time her child was "missing"?
Too much against her and hope LWOP is around the corner...

Audio files detail meter reader's calls about site where Caylee Anthony found
Willoughby Mariano | Sentinel Staff Writer
December 24, 2008
...
"...Kronk gave more details in a second call the next night at 9:03 p.m. He said the suspicious item was near a fallen tree with a white board hanging across it. Something round and white was beneath it, he said.
"I don't know what it is, but it just didn't look like something that should be there," Kronk told a male dispatcher. The dispatcher encouraged him to call Crimeline and told Kronk he could remain anonymous.
"Not if they find a freaking body," Kronk replied. The meter reader relented and took down the number for the tip line.
That tip was documented and sent to a detective, who made a note that the area was searched by a cadaver dog that found nothing suspicious, deputies said previously.
Kronk called a third time on Aug. 13 at 3:15 p.m. at the instruction of law-enforcement authorities, who were to meet him in the Chickasaw Oaks neighborhood.
"They said they would dispatch an officer out to me when I got there, and I'm here," Kronk said. He said he would be waiting in a Chevrolet Cavalier.
Deputies cleared the scene at 4:02 p.m., according to a report on the call. Only trash was found..."

Hi LLL!
The Meter Reader witness has nothing to fear from the truth.
It is far better for the witness to tell the whole truth now and in full detail.
By refusing to all now, he actually gives the defense a reason to question the truth of his testimony and prior statement before a jury.
Ask how will the defense handle this at trial:
"Did you call a press conference in December 2008 and decline to tell the public what you are saying here today? Why did you conceal the facts of what you saw in August and December at the scene? What were you afraid of? Has your story changed from Dec 11 to now? Why did refuse to tell the simple truth back then? Why did you have a lawyer speak for you about other matters?..." ...and so on..
Why raise doubts about a witness when you have nothing to hide?
The defense will get his full statement to LE anyway in discovery and may have it now so what was gained?
If he had told all at the press conference, then at trial he can say, "I told the truth back on Dec 11 and told the truth at a press conference to the public and I am here to tell this jury the same thing. The truth never changes."
The above are opinions based upon available information.

Somthing about the MR's 2nd call to OCSO has bothered me since I first heard it. The officer tells him that he needs to call the tip line so that all the information they gather from everyone who called could be pieced together. The MR clearly isn't comfortable about calling the tip line, and I wonder if he ever did? I can imagine that his calls coming into OCSO were just 3 of hundreds they must have gotten during that time. JMO of course.
Another thing, for him to be a MR in that area, he sure didn't know the names of the streets, the school, the intersecting streets, etc. I found that strange as heck and it made me wonder if that was his regular "route". I got the feeling from his calls that he could possibly have just been going back to that area because of a hinky feeling he got, and as annalyzer said, because it was close to the A home. I also question whether he was entirely truthful in saying that he went into those woods to relieve himself. That's not a big deal to me, but I feel it's something the defense can use to try and disprove him on the witness stand. Again, JMO.
I am in NO WAY putting this man down for anything he did. I'm very thankful that he kept at it or it's possible Caylee wouldn't have been found for a long time, if ever.

This poor man is going to be the target in the "Get KC off the murder rap" IMO. All because the LE did not go out and look for themselves. The dog sniffed out the area... apparently the dog had a cold or something wrong with his nose at the time. It kind of makes me feel that not many should be believed in this entire mess. IMO, it wasn't just the LE that dropped the ball. It's a shame but it is life. Not all is perfect, I just hope that a jury understands that.

Hiya Anna and Firehead Pandabear!!
You are intuitive and listen, as we all do, to the remarkable messages thankful for the persistence of the MR.
And yet, something inside me doesn't feel right. This has nothing to do with the responses of LE. This has to do solely with what the witness says and does.
Over the years, having read the reports of many witnesses in preparation for the prosecution of murder cases it has been my custom to put myself in the shoes of the witness and listen, really listen, to what I am saying. Does it have the ring of truth given that I am excited and nervous and not as articulate as usual?
Visualize what the witness is seeing and then telling; ask if I feel anything "hinky"~[love that word!!] If so, take a closer look.
That is not evidence surely and nothing against the witness but it alerts me to listen again and that I am doing. I recognize intuition in all our posters.
OT~
My Mom had it and could nail me every time! LOL~["If you lie to me your nose will start to blink on and off." Dang if I didn't feel like that every time...
That is why I looked for mature women for my juries over the years.]
{:o)
This process says nothing against the witness; it is just a feeling and here is the place to express it and get other responses to compare.
It is healthy to imagine you are a lawyer for one side and question the witness; then switch sides and cross-examine the same witness. What would you ask on cross?
That way, we begin without bias or prejudice.
For me it has revealed problems with my own witnesses as a prosecutor as well as witnesses for the defense and is a great way to prepare for what will come at trial.
An honest witness wiill stand up if he has told the truth. Lies in little things have hurt many who are otherwise telling the truth and has taught me a lot personally and professionally.

Absolutely no idea. But :cool:maybe somebody that Casey told. Or maybe somebody close enough to Casey to read between the lines when she talked. But whoever it was didn't give enough details. Just a general "I Know where Caylee's body can be found...." That would explain Roy's "defensiveness" when he called 911. Qualifying what info he had by saying "I'm not saying that the body is there....just that someone should look...." (paraphrased)

And another thought. Maybe someone who was grieving to see Cindy and George (Lee's parents) continue to make a spectacle of themselves looking for a live Caylee. Someone who knew better. Or maybe it was George himself.

I more or less agree with you. Just throwing thoughts out there. I would think that IF someone actually knew where Casey left Caylee's body, and that person felt too involved to go to LE, then that person may try to get someone else to call it in. Roy's actions beg the question of why, imho. Why didn't he believe LE when they said the area had been searched and cleared? Why did he go back again, and again? Did Roy know something that LE didn't? Did Roy have inside info?

Kronk Plans To Talk To Media After New Year
POSTED: 11:52 am EST December 23, 2008
UPDATED: 11:38 am EST December 24, 2008
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The meter reader who discovered the remains of Caylee Anthony plans to tell his whole story to the media sometime in the new year, his attorney said on Wednesday.
Roy Kronk is “evaluating his options for participation in various interviews,” attorney David Evans said, adding that Kronk has been approached by a variety of local, cable, and network media to tell his story.
Kronk found Caylee’s remains on Dec. 11, but last week the Orange County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Kronk had called in tips on three separate occasions in Aug. as well. Those calls were released on Tuesday.
Although Kronk has talked with investigators, he declined to reveal many details to the media in a brief news conference last week. He is working inside the office rather than his usual job as an Orange County meter reader.
The record of the Aug. 11 and 12 calls indicate that Kronk called in to advise authorities of a large bag he found in a swampy area behind a school on Suburban near Hopespring Drive.
The calls-for-service details also indicate the arrival time of responding officers and the time at which they cleared the scene. According to the report, on Aug. 11 a deputy was on the scene for five minutes, on Aug. 12 for seven minutes and on Aug. 13 for 25 minutes..."

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays..to everyone!!!
Just wanted to comment on those who first felt some discomfort about the LE followup of MK's tips..We do have to remember back in the day of the early search or alerts (July/August..thousands of tips came in alsmost daily...and Im not talking about sightings..but suspicions or theories!! I know that at least a few dozen here on this boards called in tips of theories or suspicions..and sure it's just a tip of the iceberg of the total picture!!:missing:
That area involved..was very swampy and totally overgrown with foliage..and unless a grid search was done..there is no way it could have been cleared definitively...as for the snakes..Right, those snakes were there first, however, snakes as a rule dont hang around active area's..and that area also had been fenced off..so venturing into that area would be at their own risk..and surely the fences would keep unsuspecting little ones out and from wandering into that area....:yes2:
No hinky meter going off from me either..this is just an example of someone who wondered about his senses..and explored his intuitions..many have that drive, but few follow their gut feelings..Kudos to this guy!..JMO:waitasec:
I do hope that George and Cindy have survived this day, and I feel pity for them that they have alienated so many in their family and the public..so I am sure they feel very much alone right now!! As for Casey, she is right where she should be!! and dont even think about her midset..as I truly dont even wish to go there!!:rolleye0001:

I think if he sells his story before any trial, he is jeopardizing the entire case. I think the defense would eat him up and spit him out. Most of us realize that the defense attacks anyone's creditabilty that makes money by selling their story. Is it his right? it sure is. But on that same train of thought he can be doing more damage that he does good.
Please do not sell your story !

I truly hope this Mr.Krong does not do any interiews..unless they are for the record..but not aired..He simply must maintain the integrety of his experience..and not expose himself as just another money hungry witness!!!
Yikes..Please Mr. K..be quiet publically, we just want justice to prevail...and you will get your rewards after that happens!!

And what about him saying in his initial calls he wanted to remain anonymous? :g:

Please do not sell your story !We have seen it first hand in many televised cases, haven't we?
Now, I wonder if the sheriff will release it first...

I'm with you lynda. At this point in time, I'm in believe of Mr. Krong and his story. After the first three calls he was transferred to another area, and didn't return to the Anthony neighborhood till the last call. Perhaps his curiosity got the best of him, and just felt compelled to revisit the site. At least I hope so.

I know sunstar...but it is a human frailty when money is waved under your nose...Please be Strong Mr. K.!! I truly wish this case does not go forward with any more people being victimized..blamed or just plain trashed..all in the name of 'ALL is Fair in Love and War" sentiment..Sorry, sometimes less is more..just like I prayed for the silence from Cindy and George way back in July..I saw the writing on the wall where they were concerned..Its a shame, as they did so much damge to their credibility and forthrightness (in Media)..So sad really!!
Bottom line to me is that this man (hero) in my books stuck to his gut feelings and continued to seek clarification..thus when got the chance, went back there to look once again!! "Good for you Mr.K..but dont create an opening for the defense to cloud your find!!"

Theoretical possibility for an argument by the defense at trial based upon what is known and what defense may reasonably infer in a closing to a jury~
Theoretical argument of imaginary defense counsel:
"Consider the scenario where a uniformed person who performed services regularly on and around the A's home, and was therefore virtually invisible, saw a little girl swimming in the backyard pool and he kidnapped her.
Consider the possibility that there was a bathing suit in the bag and other material placed there by the person to cast blame on someone else.
Consider that this was part of a well-planned scheme and involved following the mother and child on prior occasions, theft of a purse to obtain keys and access to the house to plant incriminating web searches and the auto to take it and plant evidence of decomposition.
Imagine that all of this was a scheme to carry out a hateful crime, blame someone else with overwhelming evidence and then arrange to 'discover' the body he had placed in the woods in order to obtain instant fame and riches by selling his story for a large sum of money."
Can you just hear it?
My opinion only and based upon possible defense theories of the crime to argue at trial.

Hi Grins.
(hugs)
Too far fetched , IMO, as to your scenerio that *incriminating web searches, plants access to the house, etc.* A *kidnapper*, would if he were of the Couey trait would just do his thing, and later act like it was welcome to my world. Why would anyone who would take Caylee go to such lengths to blame Casey? She had nothing of value to give them. If anyone was *following her*, they would see quite easily how apparant that was. She was just about living in her car at that time. Not to mention, the computor searches for the most part where mostly way back in March.
imo
The defense will use Roy Kronk to say that the body was not in the woods in August. Beyond that, I do not think his name will be mentioned.

So then why did Casey make up this elaborate story about the nanny, where she worked? Why did she go a whole month without reporting her daughter missing? Why was she out partying it up when her daughter was missing? This would be the prosecution talking. :)

imoHey Chambord! Good to see you again.
:love0085: ,,,,,,, :howdy: < love that guy
Oh yes it sure is far fetched but I have had to sit through so many similar scenarios that I can predict them quite often. Defense attorneys will argue all possibilities so we should be prepared.
For example, KC used other vehicles like the Jeep on occasion so that will be argued to support the Pontiac disappearing for a time; that kind of thing.
Facts can be spun many ways~~

If Baez remains at the helm, I can agree the defense will argue all that you state. Baez has given me the giggles on many occassions. I antcipate to have many more. For example, last week he announced a tipline, but as yet furnished a phone #. Why he was asking for tips raised my eyebrow, he had yet paid the $950 he needed to see the earlier tips, Which brings me to ask, why is he still asking for tips, when he has promised on several occasions, we don't know the other half of the story. Like I said, he gives me giggles.

I think Casey used the chloroform so she could party and the duct tape in case Caylee woke up....although I'm beginning to think Caylee was becoming a liability since she was getting old enough to spill the beans
