Hi KM,
I will have to check that one out. I watch Animal Cops every once in a while. It is just so hard to view some of the many ways people inflict cruelty on helpless animals. Thank goodness the major cities now have the means to try and put a stop to the abuse. :cray:
Heart breaking.

I was somewhat skeptical when I heard of this show. I thought, "Well, Animal Planet must be desperate for subject matter other than what they already have a ton of. When they started showing Victoria Stilwell as a dog trainer, I thought, "They want to have their own Animal WHisperer, somebody to compete with Cesar Millan." Well, of course they did, and Victoria was far the best of several that they tried out. Now she and her husband have been lured to the States. Imagine what an uprooting move that must have been.
But I've been fooled both times. Victoria is very good, plausible and commanding, not unlike Cesar in that respect, and plainly on the same page, or at least in the same book.
And I've now seen several episodes of Animal Witness. If you like watching the investigators on A&E, or the various forensics / medical examiners shows on the air, you would probably like Animal Witness, even though the animals are sometimes very passive parties to the investigation. Actually, the investigation that remains most strongly in my mind is the one concerning the poaching and illegal sale of baby leopard sharks. It's a very coherent story about an important assault on the environment by a vicious gang of greedheads who all belong to Sun Myung Moon's church. Vicious! But the show is good.
