BREVARD, N.C. -- Forestry officials are looking for a Greensboro, N.C., man who has been missing since Saturday in the Pisgah National Forest.
The 60-year-old man was picking berries with family members when he got separated from the group, forestry officials said.
Dogs and search crews from Haywood and Henderson counties searched Sunday for the man in the Black Balsum area of the national forest, near the Shining Rock Wilderness, and resumed their search on Monday morning.
The area is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 20 miles southwest of Asheville.
Forestry officials said that high winds are keeping a helicopter from joining the search.

We took a bike ride there over Labor day weekend. For those who have not been there, ther are many very steep and long drop offs. It was quite scary at times. A couple of bikes right in front of us almost went over one of the drop-offs. One bike had pulled over on the grass because they dropped a foot peg. When we went past them (to get out of the way so we could stop) all I could see was the riders legs going over. Luckily she stopped and had only scratches from the weeds that caught her. Everyone was alright. But, what I am trying to say is he could have fallen anywhere......and the fall could be very far down into lots of trees.
