I agree TB. They have overstepped their bounds. This is past ridiculous.
Someone is going to be seriously injured. I don't understand the mentality of those protesters. Cindy and George while in denial have nothing to do with this.

What they need to do is protest to LE and ask why they haven't charged her with murder. I feel they have enough circumstantial evidence now, but want Caylee's body to ensure those charges stick.

After hearing LE question Casey, they are not equipped to handle her, they should have brought FBI in a behaviorial anaylst to help in those questionings.

This is a bizarre case, more twists and turns than that roller coaster at Coney Island, Casey being at the forefront.

I wonder if Casey has a split personality. This alter personality took over and created this huge tale to diminish Casey's responsiblity in the death of Caylee. Blaming ZFG is really blaming herself???

I know it's a stretch but I truly wonder.

I'm not sure what the laws are like in Florida...but I can only assume the laws are similar to where I live (I live in USA up north) I believe George would not have the right to pull a gun out and shoot. Unless he can prove he or someone within that household was physically in danger...what were they throwing? rocks thru the window might justify using arms. JMHO

I cannot believe the mess going on at the Anthony's in early morning hours. WOW! This stuff is getting nasty. I also said last night, "wonder if LE shows up at the Anthony's". This is getting to be a routine for LE. I think they(protesters) have over done their boundaries of protesting when they start throwing rocks at home, that is a bit much. If I were the A's, I would send Casey back to jail for her own safety, and then they wouldn't have to worry about all this crazy stuff going on around their home. JMO

Protesters grab Caylee's grandfather

ORLANDO -- A group of rock-throwing protesters shined flashlights into the windows of the home of missing toddler Caylee Anthony's grandparents and fought with the family early Thursday before trying to drag Anthony's grandfather into the street, FLORIDA TODAY news partner WKMG Local 6 News reports.


Since Caylee's mother, Casey, was released from jail for a third time, protesters have continued to gather outside the home and become more aggressive.

Several people were seen banging on the Anthony family's home and throwing rocks at the structure.

"(We're here) just to protest," a woman said outside of the home. "It's just to break them down. I think they are just protecting their daughter (Casey) which is the wrong thing to do in this case."

Grandmother Cindy Anthony ran outside with a bat in hand when the group began screaming at her husband, George, early Thursday.

A protester then reached over and tried to drag George Anthony off his property.

Local 6 reported that Cindy Anthony was pushed by a protester during the incident.

After the confrontation, George Anthony sprayed down the group of people with a hose.

By the time, officers arrived at the Anthony home, the group had left the neighborhood. No one was charged in the incident but deputies are looking at the Local 6 video.

The group of protesters yelled, "See you tomorrow" before driving away.

Search Taken To Puerto Rico

Meanwhile, George and Cindy Anthony are taking the search to find Caylee to Puerto Rico.

Cindy Anthony sat down with a Univision reporter for a one-on-one interview for the Spanish language TV station.

Anthony said she wanted to do the interview because of the large Puerto Rican viewership and she would like for the report to be played in Puerto Rico.

She said the family got tips about Caylee but could not give details about exactly where in Puerto Rico.

In the interview, Cindy Anthony said investigators told her weeks ago about evidence from the body farm.

According to investigators, the evidence suggests that Caylee is dead.

Cindy Anthony said she believes it was an intimidation tactic.

Second WOW! I'm glad the Fox camera man got exactly where the protesters were standing by panning from them to the driveway and steet line, these people can be prosecuted for tresspassing.

This has gone way beyond any type of protest to out right mob mentality. And from the look in George's eyes, if Cindy hadn't been pushed when she was between them, I think George would have started fighting and been seriously hurt! George needs to stop coming outside to confront them and instead beat his daughter's azz and get her to tell the truth! JMO

It's LE's job to find out what happened to Caylee...not a bunch of protesters....

IMO Casey has sociopathic tendencies. She is cunning, conniving, and manipulative. She sucks in and destroys everyone and everything around her. I think it was a cover statement, just like LE searching the area by UCF. They new they found human remains, but they didn't know who those remains belonged to. Just a couple of comments here...

The protesters are not there at the As about Caylee. If they were, we'd be seeing the same ones over and over. Seems there is a new group every day and they are there for some sick thrill they get out of this. JMO of course. I'm very surprised that someone hasn't gotten injured or that one of the As isn't having health problems because of this.

I got sort of irritated with LE when I was listening to the tapes of them interviewing Casey. It was like they would ask her a question or make a statement and before she could answer, or while she was answering, they would interrupt and start asking something completely different. I wanted them to ask a question or make a comment then wait for her response so maybe, just maybe, she would forget her story. Oh well, guess that's why they are the experts.

I just want Caylee found. I want these people who are protesting to get out there and find that baby's body and give her some peace. She's out there somewhere and she needs to be found. I wish I could be there to help search.

I realise alot of what they have done and said has not been good but that is their home and like it or not this is Casey's HOME until such time as she is arrested or chooses to leave.

Imagine waking in the middle of the night to rocks being thrown at your windows and door, that must be terrifying and they are trying to protect their home and their daughter. Maybe they thought that if they didnt get outside their home quickly to confront these protestors then the protestors may have gotten into their home and thats a far worse prospect.

Those protesters were there for one reason only....to harrass, incite,provoke and get them to come outside, nothing was going to stop them until they got George and Cindy outside. Those protestors need their azzes putting in jail for assault.

He said, if the requested injunction wasn't denied by a judge to keep protesters away from this area, what happened overnight may not have happened. "Absolutely, we know who the people are," George said. "They threw pebbles, pennies at my house. I have chips in my widows, damaged grass and a dent in my garage door."

That dent was caused by one of the protesters banging on the garage door. Armed with a bat, George and Cindy confronted the crowd. One woman grabbed George's' shirt and tried dragging him down the driveway. George ended up using a garden hose to keep the protesters away.

Deputies finally showed up after Casey called 911.

"I feel sorry for my neighbors that I've known for the last 19 years. It's ashamed what's happened to my neighborhood because of this," George told Eyewitness News.

As much as I despise that C&G are not really doing thing [that is visable anyway] to help find Caylee or help LE in other ways I really have to step back and wonder how I would handle this if it were my son or daughter in this situation. I would like to think I would take the right path and do the right things but as a parent I don't know if that is always possible when one of our children is being threatned or hurt or we are in fear of loosing them.

I can remember when my children were small simple things as someone treating them unfairly at even little league and tee-ball created hurt and anger in me. I wanted to jump up and defend them then. That was a simple hurt so I can't imagine something so severe as this. I am really angry at the family but then again I also finding myself realizing I might do the same thing and I would be the one getting the rocks thrown at my house. Hi Sarah! I certainly understand how you feel but I still think that for anyone to go outside in the middle of the night and confront a stranger is very dangerous and not very smart. The police need to start making arrests and the A's need to stay inside.

I do feel the Anthony's are in pain but at the same time I also think they are hiding things they know about what has happened to Caylee. I think that is really why they have hired a defense attny and why they woun't submit to a polygraph. I hope I am wrong about this but either way they need to do as their attny asks and stay inside, don't kow this but people that are out at 130 am may have been drinking or doing whatever and it is absurd to confront them with hammers and bats in hand as they could have been taken away and used agianst them. To a point it's not the parents fault.

What they did to anger the public was make all those outlandish excuses for why those test results came back as they did. I'm speaking of the decomposing body in the trunk, saying it could be someone else placed in that car at the tow trunk company. The dead body smell, now turns into rotting pizza. The denial that Caylee is still alive and well while all the evidence LE shared with the public shows different.

It's because they are protecting Casey and forgetting about Caylee.

It's not right that those protesters are now acting like a lynch mob.

It's way past a peaceful protest. Someone has to step in and stop what these people are doing. That I don't agree with.

Maybe the Judge will change his mind and make some new rulings and guidelines for the protesters, if not then imo Florida his spending a bunch of money (rightly so) in this case and they may need to keep one patrol car there at all times.


the whole family might be safer in jail at this time..I agree btw, a police car in front of the home would also help this situation out. JMO

I don't think they can, the sheriff is very frustrated with the situation. The remark about the house was in reply to the radio guy saying he would have hit them with the bat.

The way Beary was talking, they are trying to work something out with the HOA to pay for officers to be out there. He said it wasn't fair to the tax payers to have to pay for this and that they have other calls they have to go on.

Faith...I respectfully disagree.....

It's OCSO's job to protect all their citizens.....I keep going back to that fact, that Casey has only been charged with Child Neglect and lying to LE....and the check fraud....

If this how we deal with Casey...what prevents this from happening in another case....Do we now need to have anyone charged with a crime, have to provide their own security and their freedom, because the public feels we're guilty??? Isn't that for a Court of Law to decide if we're innocent or guilty?

Where will it stop??? How about drunk drivers or speeders...mothers who spank their child and are now accused of child abuse...you get the picture....

Again, I'll say, I think that LE should charge Casey with a homicide,but until that happens, I'll defend her right to her freedom and being out on bail, until a Judge claims her quilty...and sentences her to time in prison...

This is one of the strangest cases I've ever heard of...

I understand we are all entitled to our opinions...and as you can see, I'm no shrinking violet on giving mine...LOL

Just a couple of comments here...

The protesters are not there at the As about Caylee. If they were, we'd be seeing the same ones over and over. Seems there is a new group every day and they are there for some sick thrill they get out of this. JMO of course. I'm very surprised that someone hasn't gotten injured or that one of the As isn't having health problems because of this.

I got sort of irritated with LE when I was listening to the tapes of them interviewing Casey. It was like they would ask her a question or make a statement and before she could answer, or while she was answering, they would interrupt and start asking something completely different. I wanted them to ask a question or make a comment then wait for her response so maybe, just maybe, she would forget her story. Oh well, guess that's why they are the experts.

I just want Caylee found. I want these people who are protesting to get out there and find that baby's body and give her some peace. She's out there somewhere and she needs to be found. I wish I could be there to help search.

The attny for the anthonys said that "their health is failing" when he was on NG. He didnt elaborate, but just said to remember they are victims too. Im sure the stress is wearing them down, especially George. YOu can see it on his face.

In defense of LE, they were using an interrogation tactic, that is also used in hypnosis. You bombard people with too many questions and too many thoughts ... you put so much in their head that they get confused. They cant think straight so they cant "create" new lies or ideas. Thus leaving only the truth.

Its actaully very effective - in most cases.

Second call is from Casey...she told 911 that after it took LE 1/2 to get there for the first incident, they left and now the protesters were back and it was now a physical altercation...and that they needed LE there immediately...She was watching from their security camera...and that Channel 2 was recording everything that happened...lasted about 4 or 5 minutes...for the call...

As much as I despise that C&G are not really doing thing [that is visable anyway] to help find Caylee or help LE in other ways I really have to step back and wonder how I would handle this if it were my son or daughter in this situation. I would like to think I would take the right path and do the right things but as a parent I don't know if that is always possible when one of our children is being threatned or hurt or we are in fear of loosing them.

I can remember when my children were small simple things as someone treating them unfairly at even little league and tee-ball created hurt and anger in me. I wanted to jump up and defend them then. That was a simple hurt so I can't imagine something so severe as this. I am really angry at the family but then again I also finding myself realizing I might do the same thing and I would be the one getting the rocks thrown at my house. When fear and protective instinct kicks in, in any situation I don't think we really know what we as parents would do. Just my opinion and love this site. Hugs:girl_haha:

Hi Sarah! I certainly understand how you feel but I still think that for anyone to go outside in the middle of the night and confront a stranger is very dangerous and not very smart. The police need to start making arrests and the A's need to stay inside.

I do feel the Anthony's are in pain but at the same time I also think they are hiding things they know about what has happened to Caylee. I think that is really why they have hired a defense attny and why they woun't submit to a polygraph. I hope I am wrong about this but either way they need to do as their attny asks and stay inside, don't kow this but people that are out at 130 am may have been drinking or doing whatever and it is absurd to confront them with hammers and bats in hand as they could have been taken away and used agianst them. I do not want to see them or anyone hurt.

Sheriff's deputies ready to increase presence in Anthonys' neighborhood
12:48 p.m. Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Solomons said deputies are "making adjustments" to the way they handle calls to the east Orange County neighborhood.

"We are making adjustments in our regular patrol function to what appears to be an escalating situation in that community," Solomons said of the violent confrontation that erupted this morning between the Anthonys and a handful of hecklers.


"This is just nonsense," Solomons said. "I urge everyone to never confront assailants."

I haven't said much lately, just reading and watching on TV. This has turned into a lynch mob. The Anthony's do deserve police protection as do their neighbors. What is it going to take before something is done about the protestors.

I was under the impression that the right to protest was to be peaceful and was aimed at our government. Am I wrong, when did it become allowed to protest private citizens at their homes? IMO

To a point it's not the parents fault.

What they did to anger the public was make all those outlandish excuses for why those test results came back as they did. I'm speaking of the decomposing body in the trunk, saying it could be someone else placed in that car at the tow trunk company. The dead body smell, now turns into rotting pizza. The denial that Caylee is still alive and well while all the evidence LE shared with the public shows different.

It's because they are protecting Casey and forgetting about Caylee.

It's not right that those protesters are now acting like a lynch mob.

It's way past a peaceful protest. Someone has to step in and stop what these people are doing. That I don't agree with.

LOL Isabella...security cameras cost maybe a couple hundred bucks...full time bodyguards...whoa....I'm guessing a couple grand a week for full time, if not more....

See, I do not think it's OCSO's job to stay at the A house 24/7 or even at night or at anyone's house for that matter. This would not be happening if Casey was in jail and the A's chose to get her out without providing security.

As I understand what the Sheriff said, he was trying to get a car out there thru other monies, not tax payer money. To me that says it's not their job.

I think protesters are looking at Caylee is missing and all Casey has done is lie about her whereabouts per the OCSO. No, they should not have a violent protest but it's become that.

I wish they would charge her too but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon with LE going to CA tomorrow.

They can see what is going on outside from their security cams. They knew before they ever went outside to confront the protesters that they were more aggressive than usual. WHY or WHY won't they stay in the home and let LE take care of it.

I agree. They chose to get Casey out when they knew beforehand the protesters would be out there. JMO
