HOUSTON -- For more than three decades, ever since his body was pulled from a makeshift grave in a Houston boat stall, the 15-year-old boy has been in a refrigerated storage unit at the county morgue -- unclaimed and nameless........

So sad and his mother died 10 years ago without knowing, but at least his sister know now. To think that Dean Coril had a candyshop in that neighborhood. . .

I pray Sharon Derrick can identify the other two victims also. God Bless her for being so diligent in her search to close these cases.

My prayers and condolences go out to Randy's family members.

BuzzRandell Lee Harvey was murdered, buried and then forgotten by police who labeled him a runaway while his body languished anonymously in a cooler for more than three decades. His sisters, whose search for answers ended when Harvey's body was finally identified last month, want to give their teenage brother the memorial he was denied 37 years ago.............

It sure is so sad.

And so sad too that all those young boys missing in that area and they didn't tie the cases together. And we only know of the ones that Henley and Brooks told the LE about since Coril has been dead. How many more previous to their knowledge must there be.

How sad that it took so long for Randall's family to have closure. I believe that just knowing what happened to a relative and how they died will go a long way in bringing closure.

I lived in Houston back during that time. I can still remember when that day it was discovered and LE was out at that boat shed. They kept bringing out body after body in plastic bags and you wondered when will they stop. All the major news stations kept that story on target even for months later. No one could seem to wrap their minds around the fact that something like that could happen in Houston, let alone Texas.

So many young boys found. How could this happen? Shock was not the right word. If I sit here long enough and think about it, I can still see the scene as it horribly unfolded in my mind. Some of the boys were runaways. Some just seemed to disappear with no trace.

I will never forget the names of these 3 murderers for the rest of my life: Dean Corell, Elmer Wayne Henley and David Brooks, whose crimes came to light in 1973.

A friend of mine that grew up in Houston, drove me passed "The Candy Man's" former home, tonight (earie). When my friend was growing up, he used to ride his bike around, and "The Candy Man", while sitting on his porch, would wave and say hello to him. Luckily, due to a "weird vibe", my friend steared clear~!
