Body found in truck is that of missing man

Brownsburg -- The man found dead Tuesday in a pickup truck northeast of Brownsburg has been identified as Adriel Lopez, 20, who had been reported missing in Indianapolis.
Lopez died of gunshot wounds and blunt-force trauma to the head, Hendricks County Coroner Jason Matthews said. The autopsy shows that Lopez may have been killed a day or two before his body was found. Hendricks County sheriff's investigators are looking into the possibility that he was killed elsewhere.
A Ford truck with Lopez's partially burned body in the passenger's seat was found about 4 p.m. Tuesday in a field near the 8300 block of Maloney Road.
