LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Another Hollywood marriage is ending -- but this one was no flash in the pan.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing, according to their representative, Mara Buxbaum. People magazine first reported the split Thursday night.

The actors began dating after they met making the 1990 movie "State of Grace." They married in 1996, and have two children, Dylan Frances, 16, and Hopper Jack, 14.

I have to agree. I imagine it was difficult for her and she couldn't do it anymore, but who knows..

I think perhaps in the beginning they were more in sync with their views, but in the last few years, Sean has become radical; and hypocritical as well.

I remember him having firm beliefs in gun control, and even banning guns, then when he went to the Katrina disaster, there he is packing a shot-gun....what a wingnut.

You took the words right out of my head! Honestly, I think Madonna would be a fool to give up Ritchie for Penn. Sean has become pretty radical and totally w-a-y out there.
