Woman's Whereabouts Still a Mystery
Reported By: Lee Peck

Pamela Boutte Watson has been missing since Wednesday morning around 9 a-m, when she left her mother's home on 3rd Street. The youngest of ten children, Pamela's disappearance has her family worried.

"She pretty much was acting normal. She just walked out of the house. If my parents would have thought anything was going on they would have taken the keys from her, they would have blocked her car in or did something. But nobody had any inclination that she would just leave," said Pamela's brother Marcus Boutte.

According to the family 44 year-old Watson suffers from a mental disorder and needs her medication.

"She has a bi-polar disorder she left without any medication, money or identification. So basically she's a Jane Doe out on the streets somewhere," said Marcus.

With no money the family doesn't believe their youngest sister could have gotten far. They believe Pamela may have tried to go to Houston, where she and her husband lived for 21 years before recently moving to Alexandria. While her whereabouts remain a mystery, her family is certain she's confused without her medication.

"Without her medication she could be very disgruntled, she could be child-like, she could be aggressive," said Marcus.

As they plead with the public for help they also send a message to Pamela in hopes she may be watching.

"Call home baby... Momma's worried to death about you. Call, we'll come and get you... Just let us know something," said Marcus.

Pamela Boutte Watson was last seen driving away from her mother's home in a 1992 hunter green Ford Ranger extended cab with Texas plates.

Her family has filed a missing person's report in Rapides Parish. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-473-6700 or you can contact Pamela's family at 842-7859.

The Search For Missing Woman Heads to West Baton Rouge

Reported By: Lee Peck

The search for Pamela Boutte Watson has taken her family all the way Lake Charles to West Baton Rouge after State Police discovered her Ford Ranger truck on the side of Interstate 10 near mile marker 141.

44-year-old Pamela was last seen driving way from her mother's Lake Charles home December 19th. According to the family she left without money, her driver's license and medication needed for a mental condition.

As he passes our fliers in Baton Rouge, her older brother Marcus Boutte says her disappearance has taken it's toll on the family this holiday.

"We can't think about Christmas, New Years, football games... nothing. We're just trying to find our baby sister... she's the youngest of 10," said Marcus.

While the discovery of her truck is good news, the family is praying someone knows where Pamela is. "We are going to every business we can, hoping someone has seen her," said Marcus.

While no one has seen Pamela, they have seen her truck. Marcus learns from a local wrecker operator, who travels the area often, that Pamela's truck has been sitting there for nearly two weeks.

As he fears the worst for his little sister, Marcus leaves with more questions than answers. "I don't know where she is. Her truck has been sitting here for two weeks. Did somebody give her a ride from there? Did somebody take her and she's been put in a hospital over hear locally," said Marcus.

State troopers found Pamela's keys inside the truck. Also inside the truck was Pamela's journal. According to Marcus she wrote that she had stopped taking her medication two days before she disappeared.

Tip on Missing Woman Leads Family Back to Baton Rouge
Reported By: Lee Peck

http://i15.tinypic.com/89jxfra.jpg

New developments in the search for Pamela Boutte Watson. Now missing for nearly three weeks. According to her family, 44-year-old Watson has a mental condition and left her mother's home in Lake Charles December 19th without money, identification or her medication.

Friends and family headed back to Baton Rouge this weekend where Watson's car was found on the side of the Interstate on New Years Day. After our sister station in Baton Rouge aired her story an eyewitness reported seeing Pamela that same day at the Albertson's shopping center on Government and Foster Street. The witness said Watson was asking for money to buy food and seemed out of place.

"She said it was kind of strange to her, she didn't look like a normal person begging. But she was specific and asked for a dollar for a hamburger," said Pamela's brother Marcus Boutte. "We have to think for her, be everything for her, until we get her back and get her treatment."

Pamela's family says they'll continue to pass out fliers and follow every lead until they find their little sister. Meanwhile if you've seen Pamela you're asked to call the Rapides Sheriff Department at 318-473-6700 or Pamela's family at 337-842-7859.
