Well, yes, you CAN buy clothes. As a matter of fact there are probably some places on line that YOU would like as they specialize for tall and big men.
Frankly, I don't buy clothes much. Since I retired I have hardly bought anything except maybe a new pair of sneakers every year or so and a new nightie.

My oldest daughter is the family baker, and she always brings pecan and pumpkin pies. One for the family to share and an extra one of each for mom and dad.
One of the pumpkins didn't get eaten and dried up, so I tried it on the horses yesterday. They loved it!!
But then, I've seen mine eat leftover pizza, too. :girl_haha:

Oh, good idea. I don't usually care for board games but long, dark winter days that would be a good way to use up the time. I might have to jump up for a minute or two to check the cake in the oven or stir the stew simmering on the stove.

Lazy this day, down to one meal of leftovers, think I can find enough room for it.
I made a pot of potato soup last night and dumped in some of the left over ham (diced up, of course). Now tonight, we'll have left over potato soup. :girl_haha: I'll make a pan of cornbread to go with it tonight though. :love0084:

Did you know the MASH theme song has lyrics? Did you know the title is 'Suicide is Painless'?????
I don't know how my DH knows these arcane bits of trivia but years ago he started singing the song when the show came on.
Through early morning for I see
Visions of the things to be
The pains that are withheld for me
I realise that I can see
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card of some delay
So this is all I have to say
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
The sword of time will pierce our skin
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger watch I bring
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
A brave man once requested me
To answer questions that are key
Is it to be or not to be
And I replied oh why ask me
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please

A snood for your hair, or a game (http://womgames.com/games/index.php?game=snood-deluxe-win)?
Yoiks Ann! It really is a game=save the snoods=looks like fun.
I just like the word snood.
Umbrella too.

Oh, darn. Now I know what you're getting me. There goes the surprise! :45024:
^^^^^^ :s1gyahoo: ...... but it is a snood with sparklies and cute rodent cartoons on it.
Are you getting me another hula hoop?
Through early morning for I see
Visions of the things to be
The pains that are withheld for me
I realise that I can see
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card of some delay
So this is all I have to say
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
The sword of time will pierce our skin
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger watch I bring
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
A brave man once requested me
To answer questions that are key
Is it to be or not to be
And I replied oh why ask me
That suicide is painless
It brings so many changes
And I can take or leave them if I please
show off....
Thanks.

Oh, chefann..... you really shouldn't feed straight lines like that.
PatC will be nice. PatC will be nice. PatC will be nice.
No, go ahead. Be bad.
We got FIL and MIL a GPS, but I know that FIL will use it a lot more than MIL. And she's so non-technical that she'd get confused taking it out of the box (seriously). So I have to get her something that she will use.

You could get her one of those small US Atlas. The size that fits into a glove compartment. That way she can tell your FIL where he REALLY is. LOL

just her fingertips hold
the bottom of his shirt
to stay
connected
feeling the love there
stops me stuns they are
the ones to watch
hear the story they tell

Interesting variations and customs dear London Lass [good nic!]
Growing up we never knocked on doors; merely stood on the porch and yelled, "Hoi Chookie!!"
=Unless wasn't Chookie we wanted.
=Oh, sit down.

When I hear myself on a voice-mail or something it makes me cringe - I hate my voice, but i've been told other people like my voice, and I should get over it!
