I really like Donn I sure hope Vicky likes him as much as I. Micheal and Brianna are turning into their own adults, I hope that Vicky can live with that. I hope that they had a great summer in the Casa I guess the rest of the season will tell. I don't think I that I could spend alot of time with Vicky she is wasy to high energy and over the top for me. Plus I like to talk and would hate being interupted all the time.

Jeanna is looking great I only wish her the best in finding TRUE love. Kara looks great and I'm glad that Jeanna's kids are going places and doing things. I bet that house is really quite unless Matt's around. :groan:

Tamara and her clan are entertainment. :0t31: enough said

Now onto our newest Housewife, Gretchen. I like her, I think that we will see that she can hold her own.

Donn, I almost feel sorry for him. Vicki rules the roost and why can't he go on family vacations? When she says the he can't "keep my tank full" well really who could? She sucks the life right out of all the people in her life. I could only stand to be around her for about five mintutes tops. This seed was planted from another website, but I'd love to see Donn and Jeana get together.
Why do her friends let her be so rude to them? I mean when they were in the limo going to the spa, she was on her laptop, b1tch please....
I think Brianna is just waiting to get her nursing degree and then she will become a traveling nurse and be gone 24/7. IMO, Michael will need more coaxting to get away from mamma's lifestyle.
Jeana...what is the deal with Matt still living with her. I guess he can not afford to move out on his own or something. On previous seasons he never seemed so mean, just distant. I think he's turned for the worse.
Overall I do like Jeana, I think she might be one of the most successful women on the show.
Tamra, "I'm the hottest housewife in the OC" blah-blah-blah, enough already! I see her being very jealous of Grectchen, so many rude remarks, etc. And, her boobs are not smaller...they are BIGGER (as are her age spots on them).
Gretchen, I have mixed feelings about. It sounds like Jeff wanted her and she wanted him for what he could afford her. It was a deal they made, it worked for them. And I also heard that Jeff passed in September, I think.
I do think the rest of the houswivews were hard on her, but what makes them any better? She is very pretty.
Cracked me up at the Harley dealership with her high heels on. No sweetie, you don't ride a Harley with heels...duh! And you can get a pink Harley, it's called custom paint. I've seen several pink badazz Harleys!
Lauri, what happened to her face? She use to be pretty and now she is looking kinda like Madonna, like her face is melting. Well with the exception of her trout pout lips.
I've heard that next week will be one of the housewives last week. I was thinking it would be Gretchen, but then was convinced it's Lauri. She says on her blog that George is keeping her so busy with being a newlywed that she hardly has anytime for herslef (meaning certainly not the OC housewives). Plus she claims to have 7 kids, which isn't true, becuz 4 are out of the house and they may have the two small girls and one teenager living with them. They have a combined family and that usually means shared custody anyhow. So No, Lauri isn't doing laundry and cooking mac & cheese for them everynight! As if..............

I hadn't thought about a Jeanna and Donn hook-up, but I LIKE IT. as for Matt he has had a condo in the valley for years, I think he lives there with his girlfriend. (Just Rumor).

I think that Lauri is leaving too and I'm glad about it, way to much public turmoil for those children to endure.

I'm giving Gretchen a pass for the next few weeks I really liked her blog on Bravo. Very well written and expressed lovely.

Good morning! :0012: I finally saw episodes 1 and 2. Well, first of all, what happened to the dark haired brunette who had two girls from her ex (and, then, deceased) hubby who had his teen girls posing for his new product al over the place and she had a third young son from her bf? I forget her name so I guess she's off the show.

Also, Jeanna was always my fave, but she made that nasty comment about her friends whose house she sold on a short sale. Sad for them, she says, but I got mine. Ewwwww.

And Vicki!! Girl, get a real life!!!! Her hubby and kids hate her. Watching her haul off her adult kids to Mexico was painful. Sail off on that yacht, Vicki, alone!!!

I like Gretchen. I didn't like her exchange with Jeff's daughter (not fair,imo) but I'm waiting to see how she evolves. And I do believe her boobs are real!!

Tamra is so self conscious and has like zero self esteem, imo. Lori? Boring. She will be the one to leave, I agree.

Oh, yeah. Tammy. I liked her, too, except when she was that annoying stage mom having her daughter pose really sexy.

And the other religious one was the Cougar. She was boring from day one and I don't remember her name either.

I also didn't know that Vicki's kids were from her first marriage and Don is not their bio father. But he raised them. She is a controlling freak. I used to like her but now I think she's going to crash and burn.

I didn't care for Jeanna for a long time, but now I think she's the most grounded of the group and the fact that her kids are doing well speaks volumes. This season, I think she looks much happier, healthier and generally more comfortable in her own skin.

Tamra, well, is Tamra who now has a distressed floor and a pink bike. I'm pretty broken up about that one and might just send her a sympathy card. :grin:

I also watched the Atlanta HW's. At the moment, my only comment is that therapy has helped me to erase Kim's singing voice from my head. It's a process. :wink:

First, I have to get this off (my real) chest; Tamra, sex Simon in the privacy of your own home, not on nationwide televsion. We DON'T care to see that much of your 'hot' body. She is quite the famewhore.
Then seeing the previews for next week and the pasties, I thought I was on the Playboy channel for sure. OMG:duh:

Jenna's linens cost $8,000 ?!?!?! Well she said the economy hasn't effected her and spending that kind of money on sheets and a bedspread, I guess it hasn't. Dumb! She could have provided food and gifts for her entire local homeless shelter. PS, she doesn't sound ready to get healthy.

Icky was especially annoying tonight. I wanted Donn to punch her in her 'love tank.' How can she be the hardest working woman in the world and be so needy at the same time. My thought is, she basically made her bed.

Gretchen did have fun with all the attention at Indy. You could tell that Jeff wasn't feeling too good. It was good that he got to spend time at Indy for one last time, even if he was second fiddle to Gretchen. I wonder if she did get her pink Harley after Jeff died.

When Lori was sharing her previous family life, when Josh was young, there was a shot of her and I 'think' maybe that was the face she was born with. I'll go back later and take a closer look and try to figure out what's been surgically done. At first glance I'm sure she had a nose job. Other than her melting face, I won't miss her or her wallet.

Vicki just tells her thats life basically and go on. What the kid needs is some therapy as does Vicki. I actually hope Jenna tells Vicki off.

Gretchen, doesn't really bother me. She found a man who wanted a nice young companion, the girl did stick with him and help him when he was sick, and if he left her anything she deserved it. So did he.

Tamra needs to let her son sink or swim on his own. Believe me, with no funds at all or help coming from Momma he will. He is lazy, knows how to push his mother's buttons, and needs to be kicked totally from the nest and put out on his own with NO help at all. Parents should love their kids, don't get me wrong. But when momma and daddy are dead and gone these kids will either make it or find someone else to leech off of. JMHO

I agree with everything you said. I LIKE Gretchen, I do. I just think she honestly did not understand the severity of Jeff's med situation during this filming time. Just having my terminally ill fiance saying he likes seeing me have a good time still wouldn't make me carry on the way she does. But that's just me and moo.

Yep she sure showed her butt to everyone around her, what a spoiled baby! If she doesn't like Frankie fine, but why ruin the party for everyrone else? She's like a little kid that thinks the world revloves around her. I kinda laughed when she got hit in the head with the nerf football...I know I'm bad:shrug1:

If my friend would have pulled that crap, I would have just sat down with Jeana anyhow. I mean Frankie looked pretty harmless to me.

I know it's Christman, but, since I'm writing about Vicki, it can't be good. :rolleye0001: Her facial skin... cheeks mainly... are those pock marks or ageing? Since she never smiles a wide normal smile, I wonder if she's had the limit of botox and it broke her skin down. Hadn't noticed it so much until these new shows.

Okay I re watched the show, at least parts with Vicky. Her skin is filled with pock marks, which looks like acne scares to me. What she should be doing is derma skin peel, like taking the first layer of skin off. It's normally done on an out patient basis anyhow.
She does look like she's had botox becuz between her brow, there are no frown lines and no lines in the forehead.
What is strange to me is that she has very full cheeks, and usually with age you lose that fullness in the cheeks. She could have fillers there such as Restilyne (sp?).
Her dimples are different, and one is way more noticeable than the other.
I also think she had a nose job gone bad. Her nose is very short and overly turned up (like a pig's nose).
She wears way too much black eyeliner and her eyebrows are falling too close to her eyes. All that black eyeliner only makes it more noticeable.
All of that and add to the fact that's she's NEVER happy or satisfied with anyone or anything, just makes her ulgy to me:shrug1:

Okay I re watched the show, at least parts with Vicky. Her skin is filled with pock marks, which looks like acne scares to me. What she should be doing is derma skin peel, like taking the first layer of skin off. It's normally done on an out patient basis anyhow.
She does look like she's had botox becuz between her brow, there are no frown lines and no lines in the forehead.
What is strange to me is that she has very full cheeks, and usually with age you lose that fullness in the cheeks. She could have fillers there such as Restilyne (sp?).
Her dimples are different, and one is way more noticeable than the other.
I also think she had a nose job gone bad. Her nose is very short and overly turned up (like a pig's nose).
She wears way too much black eyeliner and her eyebrows are falling too close to her eyes. All that black eyeliner only makes it more noticeable.
All of that and add to the fact that's she's NEVER happy or satisfied with anyone or anything, just makes her ulgy to me:shrug1:

You've described her to a tee. I've noticed her piggy nose and odd smile and I agree she is not attractive (ugly). ha I think Don most likely has a woman he sees. Vicki has put him down way too much and consistently gone away without inviting him. Plus he's not "filling her cup..." He's going somewhere else.

About Jeff, family and friend's telling her to take a break from nursing Jeff and enjoy her life. Well, when my husband was terminally ill, I couldn't leave his side. After he died, I told my mom that nothing would ever be okay again.
But from her blog I also have to remember not to judge other's and I'm sure when it comes to reality tv, I'm so guilty of that.
As for Gretchen taking care of Jeff and what she did, good for her. She sounded like she was very seriious about his well being. And, as in everything, people are different and handle thing's differently. Maybe I can't compare her to me since I was married to my husband for 25 years and he was only 47 when he passed.

Once, when in hospital, a casual friend visited me and stayed over TWO hours. Sometimes people don't have the sense they were born with. Suits me fine for no one to come visit. Another time, another casual friend visited me at a time when my son was there and she stayed nearly THREE hours. Son left long before she left. I've been told I should have turned over and shut my eyes. I should have, but, life is full of shoulds, coulds, and I wish I hads. LOL

I totally agree that scene was a setup so that Tamra could tell her teen pregnacy story. She's really good at bringing on the tears on call!

Lynne the new housewife needs to buy clothes for someone her age. When her 15 year old daughter had on her itty-bitty dress, that made her look like a hooker, I couldn't believe it belonged to her mother...puhleasssssssssssse!

I also dislike how the group is so catty about new comers. The new girls are not suppose to talk until accepted into the group. They weren't accepting of Lynne becuz she didn't want to talk about kids during girls night out. Personally, I think Lynne is right. Girls night out is to have fun and dish, not to discuss PTA stuff.

Tamra was pretty judgemental of Gretchen about going to Bass Lake while Jeff was in ICU. I agree with Gretchen, until you walk a mile in her shoes; you don't deserve an opinion.

WOW! Finally got to watch. I wish Bethenny blogged about THIS one!! How about Gretchen being in the music video with Jo???? :doh: These ladies are unbelievable! The big hats the women in Atlanta wore were more attractive than those in OC, imo. Plus, I think the writers had to think up a way for the OC women to wear big hats since it worked well in Atlanta. The big hats the women in Atlanta wore were more attractive than those in OC, imo. Plus, I think the writers had to think up a way for the OC women to wear big hats since it worked well in Atlanta. Another way for copying success rather than a more original idea. LOL They happened to think about the races and there they had it.

Okay, Tamra schemed to get Gretchen 'Naked Wasted' and told Vicki and Ryan. Vicki only slightly objected, but not really. And Tamra made sure Ryan kept giving Gretchen shots of tequila. I'm not sure if Gretchen was playing or not, I think NOT.
Gretchen did say "Tamra, does Simon have a girlfriend oh I mean Ryan. Maybe a slip, maybe not.
The only one that tried to get her to stop drinking was Jeana and Lynne, but not with any force behind it.
Ryan needed to be slapped for trying to be the slime he is. His hands were all over Gretchen. At one point,he even gestured he was gonna do 'the shocker' to her. Gross!
So much for Tamra's etiquette classes. Does she not know that a gracious hostess does not try to get her friend/who she see's as family, 'naked drunk' so she can see their dark side? The only dark side I saw was Tamra and her family. She is, one, very vile, mean b_itch.
Lynne and her husband are clearly out of place and probably didn't realize what they were getting into by joining the group of cut throat women/men (except Jeana/Donn).

I read Vicki's Blog on Bravo and she only mentioned the dinner party briefly. She only tried to do damage control on her calling Lynne a 'pothead' Nothing was said about the Gretchen horror.
I can't even go on to mention Vicki's visit with her mother and family or how needy she is of anyone that comes into her space or Vicki's world. She's unbelievable.

I was mad as heck to after last week's epi. Those Howives really pizzed me off. Namely Tamra and Vicki, Ryan and Simon.
From the previews I think Lynne is trying to say something nice about Gretchen and Vicki doesn't want her to talk and Jeana steps in for Vicki. I ask, who made Vicki God of all Howives? Reality TV shows are really cheap to make and can bring in ratings ... and as MTV's Real World found out you can do endless re-runs and endless casting specials, reunions, and debris from the cutting room floor! All without paying huge royalties! That doesn't mean the shows are good... just cheap!

Real World pixilates out products that haven't paid for endorsements and apparently so does RHWoOC. Slade was from those wonderful folks who provided fodder for the melt down: mortgage financing. Jo's a product of Ecuador via the California Lottery grand prize. Throw in a smattering of mass merchandizers of schlock and a few South County spoiled brats who do drugs and you've got a cheap reality show full of pretense and tinsel.

What? I didn't hear any of that stuff! Who was in jail? Well, do you REALLY think Matt Keogh was absent because he travels on business so much? He spent a good bit of time in jail for a DUI in which he hit a bicyclist. And do you really think Scott Bryant merited that Not Guilty verdict the jury gave him in his trial for assaulting a woman?

She has said it wasn't love at first. She stayed with him as his caregiver (although she calls herself a caretaker).
She's the first to admitt that she loves the unconditional love and all the bling, that he gives her.
We are all left to make our own decisions about their relationship. But since Jeff has been married five times, it seems he likes to have a trophy wife/finace by his side at all times. Gretchen fills that bill well.
I still like Gretchen. I think they had a contract and they both delivered their part.

I've noticed on 2 different episodes, she has to have ppl tell her they love her. One day the daughter compared her to the dog and Vicki almost fainted.

Yesterday I saw an episode where she told her mother she loved her, mom said I love you, she said "I love you" Mom said "Thank you". Vicki almost had a fit cause her mother said Thank you. LOL

No nothing has actually happened between Donn and Jeanna. I just hate that Viki treats him worse than a dog. Jeanna always makes comments about how bad Vicki treats him and I think Jeanna would love to have a good husband. They would make a great couple.

Vicki is the first to call someonelse out on being an attentionho, and she's the worst offender! She's controlling, needy and boostful about how successful she is.

I like Jeanna, she will say what she thinks and she doesn't trash talk the other howives. Jeanna has had a tough past 10 years or so.

Jeff passed away, I think like around last September. He was in 3 or 4 episodes. You could tell he thought Gretchen hung the moon.

I 'think' they had completed shooting before he died. They didn't get married and I don't know if she was in the will or not. Maybe some of that will come up in the next few shows.

When Vicki was molesting her man friend at the bar, all I could think of was "who in the hell does that?" I'd love to see the look on Donn's face when he sees that on tv. Then I noticed Vicki has a very ugly 'gummy' smile. She needs to see a periodontist asap!
I was getting very tired of her asking for love from 'her people.' Her people didn't look as thrilled to see her and she was acting.
The entire trip proved to be painful for Jeanna. Shane has some real issues thanks to his dad and he really needs some serious therapy. I hope his little girlfriend Shana paid attention cuz that's how he's gonna treat her.
Lynn's daughters are on the fast train to rehab. Lynne and Frank seems like a nice couple, but how could they be so blind when it comes to the girls? Lynne's legs/body looked great when she was playing tennis. Eventho, she was really bad at it.
I loved how Lynne toasted to Tamra's being the hottest howife and then laughing about it to the camera. Give.It.Up.Tamra!
Next week looks good. I can't wait to see Gretchen and Lynne have a blast and piss off the other howives.......lol

Boxer, Other posters have said that Gretchie can't talk right becuz her vaneers are getting in the way and ITA her laugh can be annoying. My biggest gripe about her right now is that she has to make sexual comments about everything/everywhere; at the gym, on the Harley, at the dinner table, etc.

The ring alone was $65,000 and she had diamond studs the size of a quarter.

No, she didn't ride, but in one epi Jeff took her to the Harley Dealership to pick out a Harley. She wanted a pink one and they didn't have it. She could have had it custom painted (mine was candy apple red). She planned on taking Motorcycle Safety Classes and getting her cert before she got the Harley. Jeff wasn't feeling well and they left without buying one.
