MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is looking for two missing people at this time and ask the public to help in locating them

Ms. Florine Weatherly, 61 and her son Fredrick White, 25, were last seen leaving their home on East Patton Avenue Saturday, November 29.

Ms. Weatherly suffers from Alzheimers and Dementia and her son is legaly blind and deaf.

They checked into a Super 8 Motel on the Southern Boulevard that afternoon and checked out the following day.

They haven't been seen or heard from since.

If you have any information that might help police locate these folks please call the

Montgomery Police Department at 241-2651 or Secret Witness at 262-4000.

2 Montgomerians reported missing

Montgomery police are asking for residents’ help in locating two people who are missing.

Florine Weatherly, 61, who has Alzheimer’s and dementia, and her 25-year-old son, Fredrick White, who is legally blind and deaf, have been reported missing to the Montgomery Police Department.

Weatherly is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 225 pounds. White is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

The two were last seen by family members when they left their residence in the 300 block of East Patton Avenue about 7 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Montgomery Police Department. They checked into the Super 8 Motel on South Boulevard on Saturday and checked out Monday.

They have not been seen or heard from since, the release states.

It is unknown if Weatherly has taken her medication, and her son is unable to care for himself, according to police.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Weatherly and White is asked to contact the Montgomery Police Department at 241-2651 or the Secret Witness Line at 262-4000.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Police are searching for a 61-year-old Montgomery woman who suffers from Alzheimer's and her legally blind and deaf son who were last seen checking out of a motel.

Family members last saw Florine Weatherly and 25-year-old Fredrick White when they left their home Saturday at about 7 p.m. They checked into the Super 8 Motel on the South Boulevard that night and checked out Monday.

They have not been seen or heard from since.

It is unknown if Weatherly has taken her medication and her son is unable to care for himself.

Missing Mother and Son Found Safe in Montgomery Motel

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department confirms that a missing mother and her son were found safely in a motel on Thursday morning.

Ms. Florine Weatherly, 61 and her son Fredrick White, 25, were last seen leaving their home on East Patton Avenue Saturday, November 29.

Ms. Weatherly suffers from Alzheimers and Dementia and her son is legaly blind and deaf.

Police say they found the two in the Travel Inn on the West South Boulevard after the business owners saw our story on WSFA 12 News and called police.

Both are reported in good condition.
