ATLANTA --

Fournier's family said Fournier left home after 2 p.m. Saturday with his wallet, but without his insulin or blood-pressure medication.

Oglethorpe County sheriff's Sgt. Steve Jones says Fournier has a daughter who lives in Daytona Beach, so authoritites hope he might stop there.

Authorities cancelled an alert Tuesday night for a Winterville man who had been missing since Saturday.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said 69-year-old Robert Fournier of Winterville had been found safe. GBI agents issued a Mattie's Call earlier Tuesday to try to locate Fournier.

Fournier had been seen at 7 a.m. Tuesday at a Huddle House restaurant in Live Oak, Fla., a city 80 miles west of Jacksonville, said Oglethorpe County Sheriff's Sgt. Steve Jones.

Police in Florida confirmed Fournier's identity by matching his photo to surveillance video footage, Jones said. Fournier has a daughter who lives near Daytona Beach, Fla., he said.

Fournier left his Winterville home sometime after 2 p.m. Saturday with his wallet, but without his insulin, blood pressure or heart medication, his family told authorities.

GBI agents issue a Mattie's alert when a local law enforcement agency thinks a disabled person is missing and is in immediate danger of serious bodily injury or death, the GBI Web site reads.
