Young Na

The body of a woman recovered Saturday from the Susquehanna River was identified Tuesday as that of Young Na, 54, of Wormleysburg, Cumberland County. Her death has been ruled a suicide, Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni said. He earlier determined she had died of drowning.
Na disappeared the morning of Dec. 6, according to news reports. Authorities at that time said foul play was not suspected. Na had a history of depression, Diamantoni said.
The West Shore Regional Police of Cumberland County, which headed the investigation into Na's disappearance, did not return calls seeking comment Tuesday.
Na's husband, Kwang Na, declined to speak to a reporter.
Wormleysburg is on the west shore of the Susquehanna River, just across the Harvey Taylor Bridge from Harrisburg. The community is more than 30 miles north of where Na's body was found.
Diamantoni said he did not know where Na had entered the river.
Na's body was discovered about 1 p.m. Saturday about 2 miles south of the Long Level Marina.
She was found by Nathan Kauffman of York County, who was searching by boat with friends for the body of his father, Kenneth Kauffman. The elder Kauffman disappeared the night of Dec. 26, leaving behind a suicide note, according to newspaper reports. Nathan Kauffman found his father's body in the river about three hours after he found Na's.
Police told reporters Saturday that finding two bodies in one day is unusual, but that the high temperature — which topped 70 degrees Saturday — likely was a factor. Bodies submerged in cold river water in winter often rise to the surface as the water warms, police said.
