‘America’s toughest sheriff’ gets reality show
Joe Arpaio will find people with oustanding warrants on the new show

Starts tomorrow nite on Fox Reality and I will be there front row to watch.
This is one way to raise money for financially strapped counties. I'm surprised no one else (who draws a lot of publicity like this guy) didn't think of it first.

Sounds like a good show. Thanks for posting about it. I don't like "Punkd," but, catching criminals puts a different spin on it. Fine with me for them to be tricked. ))))))

I found it. 7 central time.

I used to watch his show when he had one on Court TV. He's tough, but not many come back to his jail.

It it the one called "Smile, You're Under Arrest?" My guide didn't say who was in it, just a fake fashion show for wanted fugitives.

Its not fake, but they do use actors to set up stings to arrest the people. I think if more LE looked at things like he did and could do things legally (not making up rules as they go along and there are LE that do in some places), perhaps more people wouldn't go back to jail. JMHO

I was listening to an old interview Sheriff Joe did and he was asked the question, "why pink underwear in jail?" His reply, "the prisoners hate pink. The white ones kept leaving the jails with the prisoners. Now since they are pink, they are left behind."

Jail is for punishment. I have no problem with his pink, tent city, and bologna sandwiches. I wouldn't want to break the law and go back there, either, so it seems to be working.
