I've been told it's nothing new, everything we've already seen.

I was told the show was about the PRDV's, Patrick, Joran confession tapes. It showed Beth in Holland and Joran denying everything.

I'm thankful someone still cares enough to have a program on TV, it does keep Natalee's name out there..

it does keep Natalee's name out there..I'm quite certain that the real purpose of Joran's "I sold her" routine is to improve his image and to create a more favorable jury pool if he ever faces trial somewhere.
Its a island, there is not much soil and any burial place was probably at sea. Whether she was alive at the time or not ... well, I guess we can all hope for the best.
Whether it was just Joran and his two friends or whether Daddy-the-Judge went through the line a time or two as well, probably didn't make much difference to Natalee. Drugged, raped and disposed of.

Drugged, raped and disposed of.While some of the events can be chalked up to "Not Being In Kansas Anymore" the media seem to ignore the fact that at Carlos 'n Charlies that night there were probably dozens of young ladies who took greater risks and were far more drunk than Natalee ever was. Its a "systemic risk" when you are in a country wherein a date-rape drug can be slipped into a drink by a bartender. Even women who are cautious of their drink security in an American bar may not realize the dangers that can be faced when they leave Kansas!

The irony of it all is that Natalee Holloway probably did not have any idiosyncratic reaction to that date-rape drug at all! It was more likely that her character and prior choices in life simply rendered her incapable of "lying there, staring at the ceiling and waiting for them to be done with her and then simply getting onto the airplane". If only those three predators had focused their sights on a sluttier young lady! Nancy Holloway was clearly the type who would go to the police and would be believed. Joran probably just realized he had no options but to avoid any difficulty with the police.

How about if he just didn't pick up any ladies at all! Welcome to HFTM FoolsGold.

Who the hell does he think he is? I'm also sure, his father being a judge paid off many to keep him out of jail.

Joran is guilty as sin, IMO. I do hope and pray there is justice one day for Natalee and her family. How devasted they must be, not knowing what happened to her, not having her body to give a proper burial. This is all so heartbreaking and this narcissisitic POS gets away with murder.

I am also sure he hasn't gone up against a gal like me before! :45024:

I do hope one day there will be justice for Natalee.

How about if he just didn't pick up any ladies at all! That doesn't seem to have been too likely given his inclinations and the smorgasboard that was available to him.
Perhaps all the young ladies in the Tampa area should be thankful since but for the publicity about the Natalee Holloway case, Joran would have been a university student in Tampa, FL.
Now he is in The Netherlands where it is less of a smorgasboard.

Natalie's aunt is my pharmacist. She told me that the worst things are just what you stated LLL. Not knowing what really happened, not having her body to bury if she is actually dead, and seeing Joran go on with his life like Natalie was just disposable like yesterday's garbage. I feel so sorry for her and the rest of the family.

>Not knowing what really happened,
Many mothers don't want to know the gruesome details.

>if she is actually dead,
She is dead. Its known cognitively. I think the family members hold out these irrational glimmers of hope until a corpse is found, but in actuality they know their loved one is dead. They just don't want to fully admit it to themselves.

>seeing Joran go on with his life like Natalie was just yesterday's garbage.
Thats probably the greatest hurt of all. Alot of our criminal justice system displaces the rage that the victim's family feels with this legal fiction that it is the state bringing the action and the state or the "people" that were the victims. There is a lot to be said for vengance and taking direct action.

and this narcissisitic POS gets away with murder. I do hope one day there will be justice for Natalee.I think the family knew within a few days that any justice would have to be obtained in a non-judicial proceeding.

RR has been a voice for Natalee from the beginning. She is a remarkable lady.
