View Full Version : HFTM Recipe Thread
I thought I'd let everybody know I saved the 2006 Recipe thread as a PDF document before it was deleted and the 2007 one started and I've been saving the 2007 one about once a month (to keep up) too.

That is so nice of you Pat! Thanks! I think we will like it here once we get adjusted. The board is really the same format, same software, just an updated version with more options and a somewhat different forum layout. But I like it. Nevertheless, change is hard for some of us....but like I said, we will adjust and who knows? We jsut might like it better! I look forward to recipe swapping, sharing!
Happy Holiday Season To You....
Thanks for your input on the Cindy board here! It is great news, isn't it?
Okay, here is to all the great recipes that will be be brought to share on this board! CHEERS!

anyone try this recipe?
You can either fry or bake.....I prefer baking nowadays.
Take 4 good sized pork chops and add onion soup mix to the chops. If you bake, add half to a whole cup of water AFTER the chops have cooked. If you fry, then add the onion soup mix WHILE they are frying....don't add the whole package of the onion soup mix because you want to save some for when the chops are almost brown. Deeeeliouce!!
Add a tossed salad or applesauce.

Sure. Shall we make a separate Recipes Only thread? That seemed to work pretty well at CTV. Makes it easier to find later and to save.

Hi PatC and sunbunny;
Hooray for this board...I am so pleased to be here!
Any good recipes for quick and easy sloppy joe's? I have to make them for work -- enough to feed 30 people (25 of which are men).
Thanks!!:happy0158:

Sloppy Joe's for 30? Why didn't you volunteer for something hard? :s1gyahoo:
I don't know, I guess I'd brown up a about 5 pounds of ground meat with onion and garlic and dump in some BBQ sauce.
BTW Good to CU :girl_haha:
I see the title to this thread has been changed to "HFTM Recipe Thread" and I understand someone pointed out that we shouldn't use the "CTV" title since this is a completely different board and should be classified clearly as such.
However, I started this as a thread to notify former CTV posters that all those wonderful recipes that we have shared on the CTV Message Board are not lost for all time since I saved at least the last two years (2006 and so far in 2007) threads as PDF files and will be glad to make them available to those who want them. Just PM me and we'll work out how I can get the file(s) to you. The HFTM recipes are being posted on other threads here, e.g., Soups, Casseroles, Dips, etc.
