The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking people to be on the lookout for a suicidal teen armed with a plastic toy gun who was reported missing Thursday.
Rey Jesus Caballero, 16, left his home in the 4400 block of West Corona Road, in the Drexel Heights area, after a domestic dispute, Deputy Dawn Barkman said.
The main concerns regarding his disappearance include past suicide threats and the fact that the diabetic teen has not had his insulin in more than 24 hours, she said.
Caballero initially ran away from home Wednesday but returned Thursday afternoon, only to leave again after the domestic disruption.
He is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and was last seen wearing camouflage fatigues. In addition to the plastic pistol, Caballero also had a paint gun, Barkman said
Anyone with information about him are urged to call 911.
