Maureen Regan’s parents told police she was drunk when she left with her six-year-old daughter, Zoe, who was still in her pajamas. They said the 40-year-old mom and the girl were on foot and it was only about 35 degrees outside.
Sgt. Vance Stimler with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office also said that Regan “made statements of self harm” before she left the home, located in the unincorporated Walker Road area.
Stimler said the area had been searched, including local motels, but no one has found any sign of the missing mother and daughter.
Regan was described as standing about 5'8" tall, weighing around 150 lbs, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black turtle neck and blue jeans. Zoe is 3'6" tall, weighs about 50 lbs, and also has brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing green pajamas with blue on the front of the shirt.
“Washington County Sheriff's Deputies do not believe Ms. Regan is a direct threat to the safety of her daughter, Zoe,” Stimler said.
If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Maureen or Zoe, they were urged to contact non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111. Or, if someone has information indicating that they may be in danger, call 9-1-1.
