The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has been trying to identify the skeletal remains of a female found Monday in Glendale.

They have released photographs of two rings that were found in the vicinity of the female's remains.

The remains were found on Monday evening in a wooded area in the 600 block of East Sharon Road. Two people found the skeletal remains when they were looking for aluminum cans, and called police. Police say the age of the woman remains unknown.

Anyone with information as to whom the pictured jewelry belongs or information regarding the possible identity of the victim is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, (513) 825-1500, or Crimestoppers (http://www.crime-stoppers.us/), (513) 352-3040, or text (513) 352-3050.

I have been following this on our local news. It is Ohio not Ky. I was going to post it but I thought she would be ID'd quickly. Guess I was wrong.

Hamilton County, Ohio.

Thanks, 5Boxers. I changed the title. I used to live in Cincinnati, so I guess it's no surprise that KY is following it too, since they're right across the river.

I wonder if perhaps her birthdate was in the month of March. The stone looks to be Aquamarine.

Right off the top of my head I came up with Shari Apgar. I remember reading somewhere she wore alot of rings.

http://www.clermontsheriff.org/MissingPersons.aspx

And also Karen Ann Spencer

They both have been missing for a long time though. They said on the news they thought the remains had only been there since July. Could be wrong though.

This is an interesting read. Lora Stubbs was another missing woman I was thinking of in the area. Some of these women have been found, some have not.

This article is from 1998 before Shari Apgar went missing.

You would think they would release more info on the remains. They must know more by now re: height/race/age/how long remains were there/etc. How can they expect help w/o giving more info?? Drives me nuts.

I wonder if this is another victim of the killer of Esme Kenney?
