GLENDALE -- Police are searching for a Glendale woman who has been missing since Monday, and they're hoping the public can help them.

Ramona Ramos is 51, but she has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old because of a traumatic brain injury.

She was last seen at about 2:30 Monday afternoon at her home near Maryland and 44th avenues.

Ramos is five feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has gray hair, and was last seen wearing a light brown shirt and gray pants.

A missing Glendale woman has been found and returned safely to her home.

Ramona Ramos, a 51-year-old mentally challenged resident, disappeared after leaving her home to take a walk Monday afternoon.

She was found Tuesday evening by a concerned citizen in north Glendale.

Ramos told authorities she walked to Sun City to find a house she believed she and her husband had purchased. She then walked back to north Glendale, where she was found.

Ramos was found by a registered nurse who noticed she had been wandering the neighborhood for some time and appeared confused.
