The victim was discovered on May 24, 1995 in Yemassee, Beaufort County, South Carolina.
She was a victim of homicide
Estimated time of death is 24 hours prior to discovery

Estimated age: 30 - 35 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5'4"; 120 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Possibly Hispanic or Bi-racial. Brown hair; brown eyes. Suprapubic scar, no other scars noted. . No tattoos. She had manicured nails and was well-groomed. She had pierced ears. There were no additional identifiers present.

DNA: Available in CODIS database.
Clothing: None located

Case History
The victim was located on Cottonhall Road near the Yemassee line. It is believed that the unknown suspect murdered the victim in another location and successfully identifying the victim may bring quick focus on a suspect.

On May 24, 1995, an unidentified female was discovered murdered in a ditch off of Cotton Hall Road in Yemassee, South Carolina. Efforts to identify the woman continue.
It is believed that the unknown suspect murdered the victim in another location. Successful identification of the victim may bring quick focus on a suspect.

Location: In a ditch off Cotton Hall Road in Yemassee, SC
Sex: Female
Race: may be Hispanic
Birth Range: 1961 to 1964
Approximate age at time of death: Early 30s
Weight: Average Build
Height: 5'3"
Hair Color: Reddish Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Other Identifying Characteristics: Both ears are double pierced. She had a 3" scar on her lower neck (thyroid surgery) and a 5" hysterectomy scar on her abdomen.

Narrative: On May 24, 1995, an unidentified female was discovered murdered in a ditch off Cotton Hall Road in Yemassee, SC. It is believed that the unknown suspect murdered the victim at another location. Efforts to indentify the woman continue. She may be of Hispanic origins and in her early 30s at the time of death. Evidence gathered at the autopsy indicates she had thyroid surgery as well as a hysterectomy.

Those are good likenesses, and with her surgical history and all, strange she has still not been identified.

This is another one that sticks with you. It did me. I have read and re-read everything I have in my file about this case. I just wonder if the picture has not been covered enough by media. Just the right person has not seen it. She was so beautiful.

She really is beautiful. Sad how many unidentified we have. And sad how many murderers got away with it.

I hope she is identified soon. It's been so long. I imagine her family is wondering where she is. ITA this is a good likeness and that is a lot of identifying info compared to many of the cases we hear about. IMO
