A 22-year-old Charlottesville man has been missing for more than two weeks and officials say police are concerned for his welfare.

Charlottesville police are trying to locate Taylor Bramblett, who was last seen around Jefferson Park Avenue on Dec. 29, according to city police Detective Lisa Reeves.

Bramblett is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has reddish-brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a beard.

Officials hope anyone who has seen Bramblett since Dec. 29 will call Reeves at 970-3998 or Crime Stoppers at 977-4000.

Taylor Bramblett

Taylor Bramblett, 22, of Charlottesville died Tuesday, December 30, 2008.

He was born March 15, 1986, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Kaye Bramblett.

Taylor graduated with honors from the Miller School, where he was an active lacrosse, basketball and soccer player. He also served as editor of the yearbook while there. Taylor attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Recently, he was active in local soccer and lacrosse leagues. Taylor was also an avid gamer.

Taylor was the office manager for Informed Care, a local medical practice.

In addition to his mother he is survived by an aunt, Karen Karably; an uncle, Lou Karably; and two cousins, Kristen Karably and Ben Karably. He will also be missed by a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Miller School with Mike Kerouac officiating.

The family suggests that any desired memorial contributions be made to Miller School, 1000 Samuel Miller Loop, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
