KSDK -- The Berkeley Police Department is requesting the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl.
16-year-old Shamika Cosey was last seen at a relative's home at 1:35 a.m. in the 6000 block of Napier in Berkeley. She was last seen wearing a tan colored Old Navy jacket and blue jeans, with her hair pulled back in a short ponytail
A relative of Cosey found the front door to the home unlocked and Shemika's belongings were still inside. A cousin suspected she had just left the residence and would return soon. There was no evidence of foul play and it is believed she left voluntarily. Police said all their leads are exhausted.
Cosey did not report to school today and has not spoken to anyone since her disappearance.
Her family will be having a prayer vigil in the 6000 block of Napier at 6:00 pm tonight.
