Donald Abrams

The Montgomery County Police Department is searching for a 60-year-old Damascus man who has not been heard from since Jan. 9.

Donald Abrams is known to go to Frederick and Mount Airy since he used to do repair work on railroads in that area, police said. He has no medical conditions but it is unusual for family members to not have heard from him for this amount of time. Foul play is not suspected by police.

Abrams is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has a mustache, gray hair and wears glasses. He has no teeth and does not wear dentures, according to police.

Police believe he is driving a blue 1998 Buick Century four-door sedan with Maryland license plate registration 1CSP02.

He was last seen at his home in the 9300 block of Gue Road in Damascus, police said. He was reported missing Jan. 10.

Anyone who has information about Mr. Abrams whereabouts is asked to contact police at 240-773-6248.
