Eden, NC -- Eden Police are looking for an elderly man missing since November 1, 2008.

Police say family members of 81-year-old Frank Bennett reported him missing January 14. Not one of them tried to contact him since November.

Officers don't know where Bennett lived or whether he is still in the Eden area. However, he is known to stop by Hardees restaurants in the morning.

It's possible Bennett may be with a woman. He could be driving a 1993 Lincoln Town Car with North Carolina registration YNR-7800 or a 1994 Lincoln Town Car with North Carolina registration YNR-7539.

Police say most of Bennett's family live in Savannah, Georgia.

EDEN - Police are asking for assistance locating an Eden man who hasn't been seen by his family since November.

Authorities are looking for Frank Junior Bennett, 81, who was reported missing by his family on Thursday.

Bennett has no known address, and it is unknown whether he is still in the Eden area. Police said he may be in the company of a female companion and is known to frequent Hardees restaurants in the mornings.

Bennett is possibly driving a 1993 Lincoln Town Car with NC tags YNR-7800 or a 1994 Lincoln Town Car with NC tags YNR-7539. Police said Bennett has family in Savannah, GA.

He is a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown and gray hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about Bennett's whereabouts is urged to call Detective David Lamberth at (336) 623-9240 or (336) 623-9755.

EDEN — A missing Eden man whose family had not seen him since November has been located.

The family of Frank Junior Bennett, 81, filed a missing persons report with Eden police on Thursday.

Eden police said today that officers found Bennett over the weekend and that he is OK. Police said Bennett was away from home, but gave no more details on Bennett's location or condition.

Police said they got numerous tips from readers and viewers who had seen reports on Bennett.
