Unhappy Earlyne McMillen, 59 MSG [FOUND DECEASED] From Maury County, TN Since 01-25-08

Police Search For Missing Maury Co. Woman
Posted: Jan 29, 2008 10:05 PM CST

COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Maury County Sheriff's detectives are hard at work trying to solve the disappearance of a woman.

Four days have gone by since Earlene McMillen disappeared.

Detectives still have no clue what happened to her.

Her husband Paul McMillen is desperately trying to figure out what happened to her.

McMillen said he didn't know something was wrong until he received a phone call from his wife's supervisor, asking to speak to her.

"I kept trying to call Earlene's cell phone and I couldn't get through. It kept going to voicemail," he said.

She worked at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute.

According to her employer, the 59-year-old woman arrived to work and took her usual 12:30 p.m. lunch break.

"They're not sure," said her husband about what investigators told him. "My gut feeling, I feel that there's either been some sort of retaliation from by an employee or someone from outside the facility."

He fears the worst.

"I have hope, but it kind of dwindles every day," he said, adding that he's doing everything he can to find her.

There isn't any surveillance video for her employer's parking lot.

McMillen said his wife took prescription medication, but he doesn't think it was a factor in her disappearance.

Just 30 miles away, police continue to investigate the disappearance of a Murfreesboro woman.

Marsilene Smith has been missing since Dec. 6.

Police have not made an arrest in the case or named an official suspect, but they have subpoenaed video of television interviews done with the family.

I don't know Mia I really don't. Divorce would be the easier route I would think. If they fear losing assets, it's a mute point, because their assets are going to be sitting in prison.

I strongly suspect the husband also.
