Former Clark County resident missing

Saturday, March 15, 2008

A 32-year-old woman who is missing under unusual circumstances from her home in Portland is a former longtime Clark County resident.

Heather Dawn Mallory hasn’t been seen or heard from since March 8, according to a bulletin from the Portland Police Bureau.

On March 7, police say, Mallory attended school, worked her entire shift and then spent the night socializing with friends. When she arrived at her Portland home the next morning, she reportedly had an argument with her husband, then left home to avoid the confrontation.

That’s the last time she was seen.

Since then, her family and friends have heard nothing from her, and her accounts have not been used, the bulletin said. Police said it’s highly unusual because Mallory is known to be responsible and professional at her job and has no known history of medical or mental problems.

She and her husband have a small child.

Mallory graduated from Columbia River High School in 1994.

She is white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and blond hair. She was driving a bright-red 2001 Ford Focus with Oregon license 061BZX. It has a black bike rack on top and a child seat in the back.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Detective Mike Weinstein at 503-823-0446.

Search Intensifies For Missing Woman

Heather Dawn Mallory

PORTLAND - Police are looking for anyone who might know what happened to Heather Mallory.

The 22-year-old Portland wife and mother disappeared on Friday, March 7. Investigators say she attended some classes that day, then worked her entire shift. Then, she went socializing with some friends. That "socializing" apparently went on all night.

Investigators say she didn't arrive back home until 7:30 the next morning. That's when she got into an argument with her husband, and then left. She hasn't been seen or heard from since then.

Worried friends and family members say it's not like her just to vanish, so they fear some kind of foul play. Heather is the mother of one child.

Heather Mallory was reportedly driving a bright red 2001 Ford Focus, bearing Oregon license number 061 BZX. There's a a black-colored bike rack on top and a child seat in the back.

Mallory is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. Anyone with information about her is asked to call 9-1-1 or 503-823-0446.

Default Missing Woman's Husband Asks For Help

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The husband of a missing Portland woman made a plea for help Monday.

Brian Cole said he last saw his wife, Heather Mallory-Cole, at their apartment in southeast Portland on March 8.

Police said the pair had been in an argument just before Mallory-Cole took off. She hasn't been seen since then.

Detectives said there’s been no activity on her bank or credit cards and there have no reported sightings.

Mallory-Cole’s family said her son and her studies at a local culinary school were two motivating factors in her life. They can’t imagine she would abandon either one.

“We got a beautiful little boy at home that really wants to see her,” Cole said. “If anyone could please help us find her, I would do anything for you.”

Mallory-Cole drives a red 2001 Ford Focus with an Oregon license plate of 061 BZX.

She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call 911.

I have not heard anything on her. Until I skimmed the page yesterday, I didn't know we had anyone missing other than the Vancouver/Clark county lady. And she was only mentioned 1 day.
