Default Tamara Jackson, Missing Since 4/3/08, Tampa, FL

Police Seek Missing Woman With Front Teeth Missing
Tamara Jackson left her dentures at home, according to police.

TAMPA - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 38-year-old Tampa woman who has not been seen since April 3.

Tamara Jackson is 4 feet 11 inches tall, with a tattoo of a heart on her left arm and a tattoo of a "T" on her right arm. Jackson is missing her two front teeth because she was not wearing her dentures, police said.

Jackson's boyfriend, Brian Jenkins, left for work on April 3 and when he arrived at his Ballast Point Boulevard home after 5 p.m., Jackson was not home. Jenkins called police on April 7 and reported Jackson missing.

Jail records show Jackson has been arrested seven times in Hillsborough County on a number of charges, including drug possession.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tampa Police at (813) 231-6130 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 873-TIPS.

Police search for missing woman

Tampa police are looking for a 38-year-old woman who disappeared 13 days ago from her Ballast Point home.

Tamara Jackson, a 4-foot-11, 120-pound white woman with a heart tattooed on her left arm and a "T" on her right arm, vanished April 3. Her boyfriend said he came back from work and found her gone. She had left behind her dentures, which replace two missing front teeth, police said. She did not take a car. Her family has told police she had a prior cocaine habit, police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said.

Her boyfriend, Brian Jenkins, 44, lived with her at 3517 W Ballast Point Blvd. He reported Jackson missing on April 7.

On Tuesday, Tampa police found Jenkins sleeping in the back seat of a car at 5110 W Gandy Blvd. The officer noticed a hose snaked from the exhaust pipe into the car, and patrol officer Arthur "Buddy" Gray got Jenkins out before he had suffered serious injury, according to a police report.

Jenkins was committed for mental evaluation under the state's Baker Act, police said. Police do not consider him a suspect or person of interest in his girlfriend's missing persons case.

He is not considered a suspect according to the article above. I wonder what he told authorities about his suicide attempt.

I guess I should have read further, thanks Packy!

Hopefully she just needed to get away and will return home safe here soon.
