The Yell County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing Ola girl.
Macy Moats, 16, was reported missing Tuesday by her parents. She was last seen at about noon that day and authorities believe she may be with a male friend, possibly in the Russellville area. She may be riding in a green Chevy S-10 Blazer with temporary tags, authorities said. She is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. Authorities do not suspect foul play at this time. Anyone with information about Moats’ whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement or Det. Sgt. Gary Morrison with the Yell County Sheriff’s Office at (479) 495-9563. http://www.couriernews.com/story.php?ID=17091 |

Wonderful News!!! Macy is back home with her family, and has been home for several weeks. According to the Yell County Sheriff, she has been attending school since her return and hasn't missed a single class. I was told that her father was "worried sick", but all is well.
Charges might be filed against the young man with whom she left in connection with her disappearance. Apparently, he talked to LE numerous times over a period of time always denying any knowledge of her whereabouts. A Happy Result For Macy And Her Family. ![]()
