Man reported missing is safely home, police say
10:10 AM EST, December 19, 2007

An 18-year-old Arkansas man reported missing by his family in Carbon County has safely returned home for the holidays, according to state police at Lehighton.

Familly members reported Clark A. Brown Jr., 18, of Big Flat, Ark., as missing to state police after he did not arrive by bus in Allentown as scheduled at 8 a.m. Sunday.

State police today said the family notified them that Brown returned home in Carbon County safely yesterday.

State police attributed the incident to a case of miscommunication between Brown and his family. A state police dispatcher said Brown either took a different bus or made other travel arrangements between Allentown and his family's home.
