Amber Alert Issued for 7-month-old Girl

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 7-month-old girl.

Investigators say Brionna Michelle Johnson was abducted late Tuesday night by her father, 30-year-old Quito Johnson.

Brionna is black, weighs 25 pounds and has black hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing pink clothing and white tennis shoes.

Johnson is black, 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. Investigators said he violated a domestic order and took the child.

Greensboro police found the silver 1996 Ford Taurus they believe Johnson used during the abduction. There were no occupants inside.

Police ask that anyone with information call 911 or Greensboro police at 336-373-2496.

5'6 150? at least if I see him I'll be able to contain him till LE shows up! This is not far from me at all. I hope that child is safe!

Investigators said he violated a domestic order and took the child.

GREENSBORO - A missing 7-month-old has been located and is safe, according to police.

Greensboro police said Brionna Michelle Johnson was abducted late Tuesday night by her father, 30-year-old Quito Lamont Johnson. An Amber Alert had been issued for the girl

Police said they were able to work in cooperation with the Guilford County Department of Social Services to contact Johnson and negotiate the safe return of Brionna at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The child was returned to Social Services by an aunt.

Quito Johnson turned himself in at the Guilford County Sheriff's Department at noon.

He is being charged with assault by strangulation, domestic criminal trespass, violation of a domestic violence protection order, assault on a female, false imprisonment and abduction of a child.

Bond had not been determined.

Police are continuing their investigation and with information is asked to Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
