Medford Police Want To Find Missing Woman

MEDFORD, Ore. - Medford police are on the look out for a missing woman.

They say 22-year-old, Renee Vance has been missing since mid-November.

Family members say Vance was last seen at an address in the 2900 block of Delta Waters Road. And she hasn't contacted her family, including her young child.

Family says she is about 5'6" with hazel eyes and brown or red hair. She weighs about 110 pounds.

Anyone who can provide information on the welfare or location of Vance is asked to call the Medford Police Department at (541) 774-2238.

Police seek help finding missing woman

The Medford Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon would like your help in locating Renee Jean Vance, 22, who is wanted on a minor warrant but has disappeared and left her family and young child behind.

Vance was last seen in the Medford area in mid-November 2007 at a house on Delta Waters Road. Her car was found abandoned by family members a short time later. Vance has left behind most of her belongings as well as her 2-year-old child. The fact that she has missed her birthday and the Christmas holidays has raised concern among her family and the police. Vance was aware that she had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, held by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, and may be missing voluntarily or may be involved in some activity that has forced her to leave the area.

Vance is described as a white female adult, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds. She has brown or red hair and hazel eyes. She has a mole on her upper lip and scars on her knee and forehead. She also has tattoos of three dots and a cross on her left hand, and a playboy bunny on her abdomen. She has pierced ears and a piercing in her navel. The picture shown here was taken Sept. 7. Vance may have dyed her hair a different color.

Family members of Renee Vance, 22 years old, advise they have not seen or heard from her since mid-November, which is unusual. Renee was last seen at an address in the 2900 block of Delta Waters road. Renee has not made any attempt to contact family or friends, including her young child. Her family is concerned for her welfare.

Our family is seeking the help of the public in hopes of locating the whereabouts of our daughter. Renee Vance was last seen the week of Thanksgiving and has not been in contact with the family since. Her car was found in west Medford by the family abandoned. We pray that her disappearance is voluntary, but wwe need to rule out any foul play. Renee is 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown or light red hair. She has dyed her hair in the past.It is very unusual for Renee to go this long without some kind of contact with the family. Anyone with any information is asked to call the family at 541.499.0535. Renee has left behind her 29 month old son , who misses her very much.

On 040308, Renee Vance turned herself into the Jackson County Jail, where she was lodged for a contempt of court warrant. The investigation determined she was not the victim of foul play and in good health. She had voluntarily left the area and ceased all contact with friends and relatives. The case is closed.
