I know there are women who walk off and leave their children, but it's still mind boggling to me, and until I know for sure that they did, I always think something's happened to them. I hope she's found safe.

New Richmond Police Search For Mom, Baby
Last Update: 12:59 pm Police in New Richmond are looking for a mother and her infant son. Officers say 31 year old Miranda Kidd and her six month old son Alexander Dakota-Joe Boehm haven't been seen since December 28th. That's when Kidd left her other children at a relative's home. Police believe Kidd may be doing drugs and is probably in the Price Hill area. They issued a "critical missing" alert for her and her son last night. Soon after, Kidd called officers to say she's okay but when police asked her about the safety of her son, she refused to answer questions. Kidd may be in the company of her boyfriend, 38 year old Jeffrey Morris. If you know where Kidd or her son are, call New Richmond police at 513-553-3121. http://www.local12.com/mostpopular/s...3-5620d8227569 |

I have been following this on our local news. They had her mother on last night and she has the three older kids. She said her daughter called and told her they were in Northern Kentucky. The mom wants the baby.
I am so worried about the baby. I hope they did not hurt him and are on the run. ![]() wlwt is the channel I have been watching. wlwt.com |

New Richmond Police Search For Mom, Baby
Last Update: 1/03 6:35 pm A distraught grandmother worries something terrible has happened to her daughter and her youngest grandchild. How far would you go for your family? For a New Richmond mother, the new year has meant taking care of three grandchildren as the desperate search for her daughter grows. Family members last saw Miranda Kidd and her six month old son December 26th. We first told you last night about this search, which New Richmond Police have now classified as a critical missing case. In this developing story alert, Local 12's Rich Jaffe says concern about the two grows with every passing hour. For these three smiling little boys, life is anything but child's play. Their mom dropped them off at a relative's house six days ago and disappeared with their six month old brother. The trio arrived two days ago at their grandmothers home. Joann Hensley, Grandmother: "When the girl called me and said she didn't know where my daughter was I said bring the children to me. I said I'll take care of them and I will. I'll take care of these boys if she don't want to take care of them. I will take care of them." "When she brought them here, the first thing that ran through my mind is where is she and that baby? Where is my other grandson?" Wednesday night, New Richmond Police issued a critical missing bulletin on Miranda Kidd. Joann Hensley's phone started ringing and it hasn't stopped. "I was scared they was going to call me and tell me something was wrong with her or she o-d or something and that's the first thing that ran through my mind, where's the baby at?" Included in the calls was one Wednesday night from Miranda and her boyfriend. "Joann Hensley told police that she thought her daughter might be renting an apartment here on Hawthorne Street in Price Hill, but last night when Miranda's boyfriend called, he and Miranda said no we've been staying in Northern Kentucky. So, Joann's sense of concern got even higher because she has no clear idea where they've been staying." Joann's boyfriend, Kenny Smith, has been surprised by some of the calls. Kenny Smith, Grandmother's Boyfriend: "The Grant Memorial in Point Pleasant's coming down this evening bringing clothes for the boys. The New Richmond food pantry's loaded us up with food and diapers, things for the baby, we just got to sit and wait for the baby to come." "And all I want to do is see her and that baby today, and she promised me, she promised me ... I promise mom I'll be there today and he promised me he'd have her here today, too." Rich Jaffe, Local 12. The three boys have not been in school since December 15th. Joann Hensley says her daughter and the children haven't had a stable place to live for two years. She tells us as soon as she knows the baby's reunited with the boys, she's going to push for temporary custody, so her daughter can get her problems straightened out. If you know where Kidd or her son are, call New Richmond police at 513-553-3121. http://www.local12.com/news/local/st...3-5620d8227569 |
